One of the better kabob places in Arlington

If you're not from DC and are only here for a few days, this place is worth a visit. Those living here are used to Kabob places on nearly every corner, but Ravi Kabob House offers great Pakistani food in a small, humble setting. I come here every week. Almost no one eating here speaks English as a... read more

I have been eating at Ravi for many years and the food is consistently excellent. My favorite is the lamb shanks every Tuesday. Tender and flavorful. The chick peas and nan are the best. Bone in chicken and all the kabobs are tender and mildly spiced. A gem.

So my friends took me to Ravi Kabob restaurant last night & I had the most bland chicken karahi there and apparently famous lahori chick peas , very average food and not worth the visit. ambience sucks. would not recommend this place. i do think it works because it is open late & when u have no choice u can... We've been here every time we 've visited DC with the children. Generous portions and authentic curries. Our kids - 2 and 4 - love the naan, daal, tandor chicken, and briyani rice. Make sure you have cash - though there's an ATM in the restaurant.

Terrible service. Disorganized, slow and food finally arrived cold. Too bad. We probably won't be back after 3 tries.

My Pakistani friend took a group of us to this wonderful hole in the wall in a strip mall. It was a $15 cab ride and about 15 minutes from the Washington Monument. The decor is spartan. The food is fantastic and very fairly priced. One of the best Pakistani meals I've ever had. They don't take credit cards, but... More

Even though its a small joint, which is typical, the food is one of the best, even though on the greasy side. The chicken kari with fresh naan is a family favorite after we drain the oil. We have had their kabobs as well and the kids love them. Most kari dishes are meant to be spicy so be prepared.

We had such high hopes of this place. Everyone recommended this food joint to us but we were a little disappointed! Everything was so over spicy and not in a good way. We couldnt even figure out what all spices were in it. Couldn't taste the flavours of the meat or the chickpeas (which they are famous for). All we... More

Ravi Kabob is a well known haunt in Arlington VA. The rumor is that people come all the way from New York to get it. I've had the seafood kabob and the wife likes the lamb. Whatever the spices Ravi Kabob people use ought to patented - the chick peas are to die for. Even though it seems a little... More

Counter service, disposable plates and plastic ware and cash only with a small no frills seating area but very tasty. Generous portions of tender seasoned chicken kabobs and some really tasty spicy chick pea side dish were the highlights. Many of the customers appeared to be of Pakistani descent which I took as a good sign the food was authentic.
