Very good place for a tasty business lunch

I enjoyed a tasty and nicely served lunch on the first floor of this two-story restaurant with a colleague. The downstairs has high top tables and a sofa and table lounge area by the bar. It is a bit noisier than upstairs, but it is a nice vibe. I enjoyed a Cubano Panini that I paired with a... read more

A classic Local establishment with character. Been here a while it can be a noisy crowded place but its on the jump and well worth a trip. Specials are innovative and tasty, good selecitons with variety, good bar depth.

We eat out a LOT and this is our absolute Favorite restaurant in the region. We've been going to Liberty Tavern for the last 5 years for special occasions, lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch and business meals. Whenever possible, we introduce all our out of town friends to Liberty Tavern. Thus far, every meal has been superb; never a miss! Mark... More

Named by NoVa Magazine as one of the 50 best for 2015. We went to Restaurant Week and this was a good value at one of the area’s very best restaurant. This time I had the charred octopus with chickpeas and preserved lemons for a starter and the sofritto braised short ribs as an entrée. Desserts are all made in... More

We ordered off the Nova Tasting menu and loved the entrees: Spare Ribs & Trout. However, the appetizers and desserts lacked much in the way of taste. Couple that with a very noisy restaurant* and the experience was awful. What saved it from two stars was our waitress, Sonya, who comped the cappuccinos because it took so long to reach... More

Basically everything the title said (:D) ^^^ Great food, good brunch buffet. Nice servers who can tolerate small children. :) But also good for work/friends. My only pet peeve is that the carpet can absorb stains and I don't really like that in a restaurant.

I attended a meeting at this restaurant recently. loved the atmosphere and the food was excellent! The fried chicken sandwich and homemade fries were to die for! And the apple crisp was wonderful!! If you enjoy eating good food this is the restaurant to go to.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the excellent food and professional wait staff at Liberty Tavern on Halloween. The tavern was packed with all manner of costumes. Even some of the wait staff indulged in the festivities. The trout was superb along with the scallops which we ordered. The wait staff recommended wine which paired well with the meal. The... More

We have eaten at Liberty Tavern on more than one special occasion. The wait staff is knowledgable, the wine is good and the main courses are excellent. Everyone raves about that apple pizza, but we have tried several other dishes and they have all been excellent!

Went with family for dinner. I had an interesting and tasty scallop dish that had pork belly with it. Also had a side of roasted brussel sprouts, which were delicious. Family members had a veggie burger which they liked. Menu was limited (8-9 entrees), but everything was high quality.
