Excellent brunch, should include coffee and juice in it .. watch for tip ..

Had brunch yesterday with a bunch of friends and colleagues from work (made the reservation based on TripAdvisor reviews; go TA!). We were seated in the large room upstairs. Lovely light, loved the buzz from all the conversations. The buffet spread was very good, with plenty for vegetarians... read more

Do the brunch. I also went there for dinner separately, dinner was good, but brunch was life changing. If you are in the Arlington area, brunch or dinner I would recommend it. I’ll focus on brunch because it was better (dinner was good, so do that too, but BRUNCH). So, brunch was nice because we were able to sit outside... More

Quick business lunch. Atmosphere pleasant (4 stars). Service polite but slow (2 stars). A limited number of somewhat eclectic dishes which lets the kitchen focus on making them properly. The kitchen (at noontime) was out of the first two dishes we ordered. (2 stars) But the food wasn't just good, it was great! (5 stars on the food and this... More

We enjoyed the Liberty Tavern! Our party of three got right in on Sunday evening at 7pm. Service was Great. A good selection of draft beers! Prices were OK for DC area. I had the octopus salad from the appetizers and it was wonderful. Delicate, garlic grilled on a small bed of greens with chunks of watermelon. My son had... More

Liberty Tavern serves up the finest brunch we have found in Northern Virginia (and we have tried a bunch!). Variety of foods, all excellent quality and a quiet atmosphere (upstairs) in which to enjoy the food and the company.

I had been to this restaurant once before, and truly loved it. On that visit, it was a snowy night, so perhaps things were a little quieter. On this visit, the place was very crowded, and incredibly noisy. I suspect it was due to the noise level that I was brought the wrong glass of port at the end of... More

Four of us had the brunch buffet. The food was good, and it's a nice place in a nice neighborhood. The only down side was that the server kept coming over and asking "can I take this for you"? The odd thing was, even if there were multiple empty glasses or plates, she would only take one of them. Then... More

There were 22 of us in Washington DC for a funeral. We made a reservation at The Liberty Tavern for a luncheon after the service. They were ready for us when we arrived, there was a fixed menu, and the children had a menu and if your chose to order off the regular menu they were very accomodating. Service was... More

Delightfully decadent brunch buffet (highly recommended on other sites) was every bit as pleasing as promised. Entering through the main level door (after navigating numerous outdoor sidewalk tables roped off with plastic stanchions), the host station (near to the main floor bar area) greets you and whisks you upstairs (there is an elevator if needed) . We were seated at... More
