5 of us enjoyed the brunch spread at Liberty Tavern. Breakfast, lunch, and sweet choices. Great service by head server and the supporting service. Prefer being upstairs where the food is located, but restrooms back on the lower floor. Definitely worth dropping in to enjoy their brunch. Recommend reservations though.

A great place for brunch on Saturday or Sunday, Liberty Tavern draws good crowds for its spread. A full array of traditional breakfast dishes along with lunch offerings (fried chicken, roast beef, pizza) is designed to satisfy the tastes of most diners. Add a Bloody Mary or Mimosa and coffee ($3 a cup -- ouch!) and you are set for... More

While visiting family in the area, we decided to try and get together with extended family and friends in area, and booked a few days ahead for brunch. We were well received, seated and greeted immediately. Server was energized, interactive, and informative. We were offered choices off menu, or the buffet, and some chose either. The buffet was fantastic.... Large... More

My wife and I had been to the Liberty Tavern a couple of times for special occasion lunches during the week and enjoyed it. We went this past Sunday with an out of town friend based on neighbors' recommendations for Sunday brunch. The brunch buffet at $21.95/person seemed to be what most patrons were after, and it looked tempting. But... More

Liberty Tavern is well-known for its brunch, and deservedly so. It has both a full brunch entree menu and a fancy brunch spread with meats, eggs and an entire dessert table. Unfortunately, the high quality and local renown also mean that it's very crowded, and they've jammed in as many tables as possible into a small space to fit everyone.... More

We booked this restaurant for our family of 6 and everyone of us liked our food. The gnocchi was outstanding, the best I've had. The pizzas were good, but my so. Said he'd had better or I would have rated the food 5 stars. It was a bit loud. We were seated upstairs. The atmosphere was lively and fun. And... More

Their lunch menu had enough selections to give you choices but not so many you had to study it to make a decision, which makes it perfect for lunch. And, there were healthy choices (not chosen by me) for the lunchdate who is always on a diet. I was seated before my lunch guest arrived, much better than standing, and... More

Enjoyed a great evening out with friends from out of town. All of us selected the line caught halibut served on a bed of asparagus risotto, a couple of oyster mushrooms draped elegantly over the halibut topped with oak charred onions. Simply delicious. The halibut did not match the outstanding fresh halibut I had once in Alaska but again this... More

I am particularly fond of the pizzas, but really Liberty Tavern has something for everyone. The evening we were there, they offered a special octopus ceviche which on of my friends enjoyed. For happy hour, the first floor is quite fun and lively.

Last night I dined a Liberty Tavern with business colleagues. I had a very good squid in linguini pasta (but some of the seafood was overcooked). There was a good source of local beers and the service was excellent. Most importantly they were graciously able to accommodate dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian, gluten free). The atmosphere is open brasserie style but... More
