Very good sunday brunch

We came here for Sunday brunch based on TripAdvisor recommendations, and weren't disappointed. A good selection of food, and plenty of it, without being overwhelming. Don't miss the dessert table, which is separate from the rest of the buffet. If you go for the buffet (there are a la carte... read more

Trendy tavern in trendy Clarendon. Popular with the 25-35 year old crowd. Warm, lively bar scene. Food is hit or miss. Some dishes are out of this world, others just so so. Steer clear of salads - generally small and poorly seasoned. Sandwiches and burgers are awesome, as are the seafood dishes. Worth a visit for the vibe and atmosphere.

The food was fine but I found the restaurant to be vastly overpriced for the quality, and quantity of food. Service was marginal.

Make reservations and ask for the upstairs dining area. Their brunch had multiple breakfast and lunch options. Tried a bit of everything. Their pizza was great. Greek yogurt cups with fruit compote was yummy. Nice lamb at the carving board. Food was constantly being re-stocked. Save room for the dessert bar. Tried not to go crazy but the chocolate pecan... What a lovely combination of ambiance, great service and wonderful fresh and creative food. They accommodate gluten free and are child friendly without losing the fine dining attention to the meal.

The happy hours in Clarendon are pretty competitive and this one swings to the top as being one of the best. Owned by the same people who own Northside Social right across the street, so if you like them you'll like Liberty too. I got a burg to die for, cooked perfectly and then the wine selection is great too.... More

I had dinner here with a date. As usual the food was weird, in a bad way. There were no entree salads for my date and my gnocchi dish was bland and forgettable. Liberty keeps trying to be "edgy" or trendy with their food, but misses the mark in providing consistency or something that is even desirable. Also, as usual,... More

We reserved a table upstairs - downstairs is a fun, exciting place for a drink with friends, but loud for dinner date. The service was excellent, friendly and quick. We ordered a pomegranate salad, pesto noodles and scallop dish - all to share. The flavors were just what we were looking for - tasty and not too salty. The drink... More

Made a trek out to this place from MD suburbs based on a friend's recommendation, but came away underwhelmed. The good...the service...very attentive and pleasant :-) The bad...the burger was dry :-| The ugly...the salad was just downright ugly...limp and smothered in salad dressing :-(

We made a last minute reservation on a Friday night and the earliest spot open was at 9pm. We ordered a the wedge salad to start (crisp pancetta, scallions, tomatoes and blue cheese - $11.50). For our entrees we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the NY strip (bone marrow butter, roasted mushrooms, white cheddar grits, mustard greens - $24.95).... More
