Nice place

I loved the flat bread appetizers. Great for sharing. Very tasty. The roasted pear salad was also outstanding. I was disappointed by the lobster ravioli, though perhaps not in the way most people might be. I was hoping for a pasta dish, with some lobster garnish, and what I got was a lobster... read more

We are used to expensive resturants in the D.C. area but usually you get your money's worth. Got the Lobster Ravioli - well there is no ravioli in it. Just one piece of pasta, one piece of lobster, 2 shrimps and one scallop with some vegetables. Our daughter in law said the scallops were ok just not many. This resturant... More

Have eaten at the Willow several times It has become our special occasion restaurant. Had their special Thanksgiving dinner there last year and not only enjoyed it, there was enough to take home - like I'm used to with the relatives! Joined them for St. Patrick's Day this year. Special menu and again very enjoyable. Park in the lot below... More

Went for Easter Brunch. Server could not explain items on the menu---guessed at what cripsy meant, could not pronounce endive, disappeared for long stretches, water glasses not refilled, etc, ect. Just insert any set of bad service indignities and you'll have our experience. Food was heavy, heavy handed. Cream of Cauliflower soup was inedible because of tons of flour/ thickner... More

Despite advertising a special Easter Brunch menu, this restaurant only had three brunch items, all featuring eggs. Hostess was rushed and raced to table, dropped off menus and left before we were seated. Waiter took forever to arrive and promptly forgot drink order and had to come back. Soups were delicious, especially once the bus girl we flagged down got... More

Accompanied by my wife and daughter, I settled in for what I felt sure would be a great Easter Sunday brunch. So much for feelings. Our server arrived and, in just a few moments, demonstrated that he had been put on the floor with just about no training. We asked him what a specific description meant and he had no... More

If you want the good old restaurant and service this is the place. The Ballston area of Arlington has lots of choices for food, but Willow is unique in style and class. I have had two recent meals there and they were both good. The last was scallops- and they were to die for.

I am not a big "sweets" person but I do love the cakes. I would ship a cake to florida if I could. The dinners have always been excellent and have a great presentation. They also have a wonderful wine selection along with a full bar.

The food is fresh, waiters helpful and knowledgeable, bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. I appreciate their attention to food allergies and the extensive gluten free offerings

Went to Willow with friends who had enjoyed it in the past. We went there a few years ago several times for lunch and I really liked the food. We went for dinner. Even though we had reservations we were given a so so table and were semi ignored by our waiter. The food was just OK. I was really... More
