Nice lunch

This restaurant is a few blocks from the Ballston Metro and also features a parking garage as well as street parking that is easier than downtown DC. The lunch menu is very good and offers many options for meat eaters and vegetarians. There is also a 1/2 and 1/2 menu in which you can select a... read more

I had a great visit at this restaurant. Had a sandwich that was outstanding. Very filling. The service was great. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

I went to Willow with a few colleagues from work for a quick lunch. The restaurant it's usually quite empty on lunch time. They offer a lunch menu for $10 dollars at the bar, which seemed like a good deal. I ordered the burger and asked to leave out the bacon, since I don't eat pork. They brought a burger... More

I was with some colleagues for the organised dinner. Pre-selected menu with only few choices; it took some time to get my first drink and food took even longer to get prepared. However, food was good and with sufficient size. The place was busy towards the late evening.

We stopped for a light dinner of appetizers. We couldn't make up our mind from the many choices, so it became a heavy dinner. The most memorable, two weeks later, is the Brussels sprouts. The service was attentive and the atmosphere quite friendly. I'd certainly return.

local owned restaurant with a great wine list and pastry chef who bakes a cake of the day in addition to a great dessert selection. The food is solid the atmosphere is a mix of locals and visiting professionals. Great happy hours too. Definitely for a more sophisticated crowd looking for an upscale casual dining experience without all of the... More

My wife and I travel quite a bit and have been to just about every kind of restaurant there is...The Willow is one of the best at being not good in just about every catagory there is. When we arrived were were seated quickly and that's about as far as any form of decent service went. We had a waiter... More

Even before we knew the two talented chefs behind this fantastic restaurant, we were hooked. We have traveled from Denver and Florida many times to dine at Willow. The food is inventive and quite delicious, yet "down to earth". The service is always attentive and friendly. The menu changes often to reflect local and fresh ingredients. Remember, don't forget to... More

Willow is the sort of place where you can feel like an adult and enjoy great food, well-priced drinks and a welcoming environment all year long. Their happy hour drink and appetizer specials are wonderful and economical; their lunch nosh and daily special menues make it a great place to meet friends or business colleagues and their bar area has... We lunched at Willow with friends who had dined there previously, and liked the place. The patio on a sunny spring day was very pleasant. Service was satisfactory but not exceptional. The half and half small soup and half sandwich was a good choice for midday, enough to fill you without feeling stuffed. The gratinee soup was overwhelmed with cheese... More
