We had Lunch here no 8th June 2014. Actually we were travelling with a group from India and had everything arrangement by the Group Tour Operator. So first of all, the Restaurant was not specifically chosen by me. But still, we thoroughly enjoyed the great food. The Restaurant has very good ambiance, and the quality and test of food compliments... More

Being from India , it is very difficult to get "the " indian taste around here . This restaurant somewhat do justice to the great Indian taste. Had visited twice . Both instances I had to use up my, "accidently accumulated" restaurant.com coupons. Restaurant.com as per my experience is usually tied up with restaurants which are pretty substandard. This one... We went for an early dinner after running errands all day (4:30pm) so I was nervous that they wouldn't even serve us yet.. however they welcomed us with a friendly smile. I had the butter chicken (my regular Indian dish) and my fiancé had the mixed meat grill dish. He really enjoyed dipping his meat into the butter chicken sauce,... More

One of my favorite Indian restaurants. I usually order the chickpeas, the somosas are great and the naan bread is to die for. Probably one of the only restaurants in the area where you can get a bottle of wine for less than $30.

I was craving Indian food and some spicy curry and was delighted with my dinner. When you arrive they have some flat bread and chutney on the table. The chutney is a mix of cilantro, mint, and jalepeno which was definitely a delight to my taste buds. The chicken vindaloo was just right for my spicy taste and my teen... More

I've often found that service on slow nights is often much worse than on crowded nights. That was the case for us, where the wait staff made several gaffes. Probably an off night so I've given the full four stars for the food. We ate a lot of it, and each dish was good or better. Each dish tasted different,... More

I have rarely tried anything else on the menu because the chicken tikka is so unbelievably good that I have daydreams about it. I've gone to Aroma by myself to enjoy this dish and I would do it again. I enjoy many types of Indian food but that dish really stands out to me. I also order it with the... More

I order malai kofta, naan, and lemon pickles. I ordered the through the website FoodlerFirst the malai kofta was too salty. Second, the naan was thick, chewy and tasteless. The lemon pickles were oily and disgusting. My wife and I ask for a refund but were refused. So, we paid for a meal that ended up in the garbage.

Aroma has a very nice setting with good solid Indian food, nicely executed and spiced just right! The service is very attentive. I had a very nice meal here and will return.

Enjoyed a great first dining experience at Aroma in Shirlington. It was a nice evening so we dined outside, but we were inside for a moment to check in and the restaurant is beautiful. Quite elegant and classy while still being inviting. Dinner was lovely, I enjoyed chicken tikka masala and it did not disappoint. The naan was fresh and... More
