Best part of my trip to Arlington.

The BEST part of my trip to Arlington. Open twenty-four hours and usually very busy. Halal food with a large selection!

I have been coming here for lunch for many years and have always found the food the great. Just enough spice and flavor. The place is very busy most times but moves quick. Very reasonable and able to get take out to go back to the office with. I am hooked on the lamb. Great chick peas.

This place is not much to look at - but has the best kebabs in the DC metro area! Excellent food, great rice, nice salad, but awesome kebabs. The lines are long so give yourself extra time. Best had for takeout as there aren't many tables and the place isn't much to look at -- but all that is overcome... More

I ordered the lamb kabob and it was outstanding. The lamb had an amazing smoky flavor, but the star of the platter were the chickpeas and rice. I was in DC for four days and I ate dinner twice at this place, unforgettable.

Only restaurant in the area that's open after 9:00 p.m. on a weekday. The service was slow but welcome since all the other eateries in the area were closed. Food was good but not great.

When we walked up to this place, one of the workers was washing the dishes on the back patio with a hose and bucket. Both bathrooms were out of order and they were using a Gatorade dispenser with soap and a bucket underneath as a hand washing station. The whole place felt unclean and unsanitary. The buffet was mediocre and there... More

Over rated.. The kebabs were a little stiff.. It was over crowded and they had no proper system so we ended up waiting an hour..The cashier was bad mannered and wasn't willing to answer any questions.. The Haleem was full of unnecessary spices and a definite no no.. Once we got our food it had all been clumped in the... More

Great, authentic food -- but a lot of it is highly spiced. If you are bothered by a lot of spices, you can ask your servers and they'll steer you clear. The bread is AWESOME. Sign of a good Afghan restaurant? All the Afghan taxi drivers come there for lunch!
