Good food and great service

I dined here on a cold January night with 3 family members. The dining room has nice large windows with a nice view of the courtyard ice skating rink. The staff were friendly and attentive, and even located a space heater nearer to us when we were slipping our coats over our shoulders. I would... read more

To me, BREAD is the most important thing at an Italian restaurant! How about you? Well this restaurant had upscale WHITE bread, ugh! A 21st dinner party for my daughter, her pregnant sister and husband and myself. They didn't even comp a slice of cake for her birthday! I would have walked out if it had been any-other day after... The food was the closest to real Italian food I have found since our trip to Italy last fall. The seafood was good and my wife's dinner was very good. We have been searching for something that even remotely resembles the food we had in Italy but this the best so far.

We've been here a few times, mostly on the way home from work and as a place to get a quick dinner and escape from the traffic until it clears up a bit. All of the wait staff we've had so far have been very friendly and we haven't encountered any issues there. The bruschetta is actually quite good and... More

Everything was mediocre. The bean soup only filled half the bowl. It was good, but the portion size was incredibly small. The pasta Bolognese wasn't bad...it just wasn't good. And the server could barely speak English. All things considered, there must be a better choice for Italian food.

Food was good. I love thin crust pizza and this place had it. The sauce was good too. Surprised it was not very busy on a Friday night.

Do tell me what's great here?? We arrived before the dinner rush,so the server was attentive to us, but when the rush came, she was nowhere to be found, so we waited at least 30mins before we could get our bill from a buser. Overall, the food was nothing extraordinary...boring.The calamari was nicely cooked, but not much else stood out.... More

By far one of my best experiences in DC, so glad we gave it a try. The decor is beautiful, and after just visiting Venice I felt like I was back! Nice murals, Venetian chandeliers, cozy setting. The pumpkin ravoli was one of the tastiest meals I've ever had. The service was impeccable, you can tell they really care about... More

We went there because I had purchased a Restaurant.com certificate for this place but will return every time we visit the area for the Food, Service & Atmosphere! We had the Lasagna and it was Delicious! Unfortunately were too full to sample the desserts but that is a must for our next visit! The service was awesome as well! I... More

I was here the other night for dinner. I had the pumpkin ravioli. They were very good, The canoli for dessert were also good. The prices were fair. The restaurant was nice inside but it was very warm.
