Busy Saturday. Looking for a late lunch. Actually went to another restaurant in the same location but it was closed. We decided to take a chance. This place serves really good food. We both had salads: a caprese and a beet salad. Both were very good. We had pastas: a shrimp and chicken with tomatoes, basil, a little garlic and... More

While staying just down the hill in Arlington we stumbled upon the Mele Bistro. This place is an absolute gem, wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is out of this world. We ate here 2 of the 4 nights that we were in town and if I had my choice it would have been 4 out of... More

We wanted to share a nice Italian dinner in the Arlington area and this was a great spot only a few blocks from our hotel. We staff was welcoming and the food was amazing. Chianti was perfect. We felt the bread was too crusty and dry for our taste but the food was amazing. Service was slow with regard to... More

My wife and I were spending the weekend in the DC area after a conference, we wanted some Italian for dinner and after walking out of Georgetown and seeing traffic we decided to try and find a spot in Arlington. Found the Village (Mele) bistro on line and it was great. From the minute we entered the staff were very... More

I would have not known about Mele's had it not been for me asking my boss for a good place to have a client meeting. This is top notch in my book! Delivery of the food, the time it takes and pricing are truly consistent and 100% appropriate! This is a place to take your loved ones out for a... More

After a flight cancellation, then a reroute through Miami instead of NY to get to D.C., what a nice treat to enter this lovely establishment and be welcomed by the manager as if we were family. We were seated at the perfect table, quiet yet not far removed and both seats having a view instead of one seat looking at... More

Tried to make a reservation for 20 people. Communication from the restaurant is terrible at best and for the most part non-existent. I would never have confidence in the level of service there. Apparently they do not want the business.

This restaurant is nestled in the Roslyn area - just a very short walk from the Rosslyn Metro Station. Although in the typical old Arlington style of neighborhood "strips," Mele (its new name about 1 yr ago) is a mainstay of this area. It received very high ratings from Yelp and Trip Advisor and the Best Italian in Arlington reviews,... More

I stumbled across this restaurant as it was conveniently located near a place I needed to visit. Parking was not a problem. I was surprised that entering at noon we were the only diners for lunch. The decor was pleasant and rustic; a mixture between NY loft and French country inn. You realize soon that this is a different place:... More
