Steaks at this restaurant was fabulous. Excellent flavor. Generous portions. Loved the steak butter and sauce as well.
If you like steak, you can't beat Ray's. The steaks are as good as Morton's, Capital Grille and other pricey steakhouses, but at about half the price. The restaurant is a bit spartan, but who cares--you're there for steak, right? Beware the temperature selections--go up one from what you're used too. That is, if you typically like medium rare, go... More
We were looking for a great steak and we found it. Our waiter was old school and very personable, followed his recommendations for a superior meal! Steaks are as good as advertised, grilled perfectly, and added touches like spicy cashews, rosemary bread, and creamy crab soup. Depending on the steak, they add onions, horseradish sauce, and for three different choices,... More
Went there at the recommendation of my hotel. Got seated right away. Another person commented that they do not serve alcohol. I was able to get alcohol no problem. Apparently there are two sides of this restaurant. One of them serves alcohol the other can only serve beer and wine. I have no idea why I'm sure its some crazy... More
Well, we came for the beef and we got it. The steaks were great. We too a fillet and a NY strip. Only the blue cheese was too strong. We took it off the steak to be able to appreciate its taste. We were hungry, skipped the first dishes and ordered the large portions. They were way too large. The... More
I went to Rays on the recommendation of the Marriott key bridge. They said it was better then Mortons. My first surprise, they don't have mixed drinks. Then asked for sparkling water. They didn't have any. The Caesar salad came without dressing. The service was very slow. Had the filet which was good. The mashed potato was bland and cold.... More
A simple straight-forward steakhouse with emphasis on top grade beef well-prepared. Go there for the food, not the ambiance.
This is a 5 star restaurant in every way. The service is wonderful and the wait staff is very knowledgable about the menu. The food is excellent, tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. It is a on the high end so for most people it is a special event type of place. Reservations are needed, but the dress code is... More
We ate at Rays the Steaks just once, and will never return. The meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was horrendous. Our server ignored us --consistently and continually. We had to flag down other servers and eventually ask for help from the manager. it was beyond the pale. In the end, we figured he treated us with disdain... More
