I had dinner at Ray's for the first time tonight. It was amazing. I recommend that you try it out. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to return.

As noted before the interior is underwhelming, but knowing that - set your expectations accordingly and come to enjoy a great steak. Is this the best steak I've ever had? No. But it was very good. The creamed corn, however, was the best I've ever had. The service was excellent and the wine reasonable and good tasting. They need a... More

Great place for steaks! The steaks are masterfully cooked and the service is top notch! The keeper of the wine list is mindful of pairing the kitchen's offerings with great wines from the best wine areas of the world... France, Spain, California, and Italy. Be sure to save room for the house made key lime pie!

I don't get it. Steaks are good, but the service is weak, there is no bar and no liquor (what "steak house" doesn't offer the perfect pairing to a steak, a freaking martini?), the atmosphere is kind of pathetic (the guy next to us was wearing a Virginia Tech camo hat, and the place looks like it was set up... Better than Morton's or Ruth's Chris. A local 'best of' because it is a personal mission of excellence rather than 'just' a fantastic franchise.

The steaks are some of the best I've ever had. I've been here three times and tried a different one each time. This most recent visit, I tried the Diablo Aged steak. I had no idea, prior to coming to this restaurant for the first time, that aged steaks were a thing people did. Well, Ray's does, and they do... More

We enjoyed steaks cooked perfectly and family style dishes of mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and tender crisp broccoli. The desserts were tasty as well.

I really like this place. I've been twice now. While it reminds me of many of the very high end steak joints I've visited in the past, it has a quaint, small neighborhood feel. The wait staff is fantastic and the food is good too. While it's not the best steak I've ever had, it is quite good. The prices... More

The buzz was that this was a really good steak house, frequented by pols and others. The atmosphere was pleasant, if a bit black and white (they could use some art works or flowers). The steaks were not cheap but were in line with D.C. area costs. There were four of us at dinner. The other three received their orders,... More
