I had one of the best medium rare steak over there with a good red. I like it there. The atmosphere was ok, the service not bad.

I was in town for Labor Day and really looked forward to enjoying a great steak near the capitol...WRONG!!!! The steak was not horrible, but just not good! Sides were terrible and somewhat cold. Service was not great either. Overall the cost was reasonable which tells me this is an average restaurant trying to pass itself off like an upscale... More

I had as good a steak here as anywhere I've eaten. Wife had salmon that was very good as well. Decent wine list. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Creamed spinach served family style in a warm skillet was outstanding. Atmosphere was simple but comfortable. Will return.

I wasn't terribly impressed with my scallop entree, but that's probably my fault for ordering seafood at a steakhouse. My date ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked medium rare as ordered. He wasn't blown away ether. Decent wine list. Prices you'd expect for this close to DC.

Few people cook steaks as well as we do at home. But these guys are as good as it gets I had a bacon wrapped filet with bernaise sauce and my wife had a filet with blue cheese crumble. Just delicious. Temperatures were spot on. Salads. Excellent. Chocolate mousse deserts. Awesome. Service was so attentive we had to back our... More

Made reservations at Ray's for dinner back in June 2014. We all had great steaks. I would strongly recommend them for a great dine in experience.

When the restaurant we wanted to try locked it's door at 10:00 pm SHARP, we walked around the corner to Ray's who welcomed us warmly despite the late hour on a Sunday night. The host even suggested a couple of other nearby options if we were not in the mood for steaks. I was so impressed, we decided to stay... More

Excellent steaks, moderately priced and cooked as ordered. Sides were included and were great! Friendly, welcoming staff, prettty room and conveniently located. What else do you need?

Friendly wait staff. Accomodated quickly for seating without reservations. Lobster bisque was wonderful and ample with lobster pieces. Husband enjoyed the scampi, sweet and succulent. I ordered the blackened filet topped with lobster in cream sauce which was cooked to order but unfortunately served warm at best. Same with cream spinach and mashed potatoes that is served family style but... More

This is no Ruth's Chris, but neither are the prices. It's a superb steakhouse, well worth the price for high quality meals. Our group of 4 had 3 steaks and 1 salmon special, with 2 appetizers, a bottle of Malbec, and coffee for about $160. We'll be back next trip to town.
