The delicious sandwiches and fun decor made this a memorable lunch stop for our family. Our waiter, Henry, was so precious and very welcoming. The Lost Dog Cafe gets rave reviews from all four of us! Ps - try the Tiger Tea...yum!

This place is wonderful.. millions of excellent sandwiches on the menu. Lots of different beers.. Everything reasonably priced.. located close to Stray cat cafe.. I can't say enough about this place so go to the website, it will tell you the history of what they do for animals. http://lostdogcafe.com/arlington/ I could eat every meal for the rest of my life... Yeah - this pizza & beer joint is the bomb! - for pizza and beer (and sandwiches). We went for a mid-day business lunch and it was sooo worth it, but not my first trip. We all had sandwiches and everyone devoured their food. The service was 'ok' - but nothing to write home about. Beer was awesome! Cold and... More

Introduced to The Lost Dog Cafe (McLean, nest to Safeway) by a friend, we were impressed with its wacky decor and selection of beers. The food is good too. A great find for casual lunch or dinner, with the added atmosphere and the knowledge of the good work at the back of the reason for the cafe - rescuing dogs... More

Lost Dog is the quintessential neighborhood sandwich/pizza joint with a twist: they have a fantastic international beer selection. Service (once you get a table) is quick and competent. I've never had an order get mixed up. There are dozens of sandwiches and specialty pizzas to choose from, ranging from traditional to downright weird. Soups, salads and chilies also. Prices and... Lost Dog is our neighborhood favorite for casual dining and takeout, mostly the latter. We usually get our favorite sandwiches every time (my daughter's is called Sheara's Madness). The sandwiches are delicious and speedily prepared. We also like the waffle fries. We rarely dine there on weekend evenings as the place can be crowded and noisy.

Their sandwiches are really, really good, as is their excellent selection of beers. It's not a fancy place, but we had fun. We have been there several time for lunch. The pizza is also definitely a keeper.

The service was friendly enough and they brought our food at a reasonable time. However, the food was average at best and the space was very cramped and uncomfortable. But the worst of it all was I saw a cockroach climbing up the wall and MY server killed it with her bare hands!!! It was disgusting!!! After that, she just... More

Lost Dog Cafe is located in Westover's little restaurant strip and is usually filled with local families. It specializes in pizzas (both for sharing and for individual consumption) and sandwiches... But oddly, if you want a burger, you have to go to its sister restaurant a few doors down (Stray Cat). Pros include its beer list and extensive pizza customization... More

First time visiting Arlington and found this place by reading a few reviews. Pizza was great and so was the beer. Service was a little sub par but with the quality of pizza and beer selection, I highly recommend.
