Sandwiches, pizzas and beer - oh my!

Lost Dog is a great place to experience a vast array of beers, sandwiches of ever-changing ingredients, and pizzas. It is very casual and very popular, so be prepared to wait a bit for a table at peak times. Two things you can do to avoid a wait: you can order out for delivery or pickup or you... read more

It's hard to imagine any restaurant serving such bland and flavorless food. The guacamole was just mashed avocado, lacking any traditional spices. Our entrees of fettuccini neptune with shrimp, scallops and crab meat were completely without flavor. The sauce seemed to consist only of milk and a little heated butter poured over the pasta. Nothing else in the way of... More

Lost Dog Cafe is a combo of a pizzaria and a beer store/bar. They have an excellent beer selection that you can taste and buy to take home. There is a very large selection of pizzas from the normal to taco-pizza if you're in for something new. They also have some related dishes and subs on the menu, but we... More

Looking for some dinner in Arlington, we happened on the Lost Dog Cafe when looking for restaurants in the area. The cafe is located in a small strip mall but there was alot of parking on the street out front. We LOVED the theme - everything dog-related - but the place seemed like a nice spot for the locals too.... More

We live close by and have really stopped going here very often. While we love the food (although not healthful), it is a bit pricey for what you get. The atmosphere is nice, and the service typically good, but $7.95 for a slice of pie for dessert, (that I know from the supplier costs about $24 for 16 slices) is... More

The menu at Lost Dog is many pages long. If you can't find something you like here, you're not trying. We went for sandwiches, but I know that the pizzas are well respected as well. I had the El Paso Pup, which was sliced chicken breast, BBQ sauce, bacon, Munster cheese, avocado, and jalapeño. It was tasty. The fries and... More

Really good food (had to take some home to have the next day) friendly prompt staff comfortable atmosphere and the money goes to local Dog related humane organizations to help local canines who have been abandoned or dropped. A few doors down is a partner restuarant that helps cats. And no I'm not making that up.

Had the opportunity to eat here this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is huge and every combination looked appetizing. Very moderately priced, as well. Between the pizza and sub/sandwiches, you could eat here 50 times and still not try everything. They have some pretty cool artwork on the walls telling the story of the area. If you... More

If you think you might enjoy a picnic lunch on the deck of an aircraft carrier, first check out lunch at the Lost Dog Cafe. The decibel level at the Lost Dog must be close to 100. Just put in a few tables of folks eating and talking, add in a howling baby or two (Arlington mothers love this place,... More

Huge menu, tons of sandwiches and pizzas. Gluten free pizza if you so desire. Waffle fries. AMAZING beer selection. Root beer. Fantastic milkshakes. All VERY yummy. Clean. Casual dining. Fun artwork on the walls inspired by the local history. Huge supporters of helping homeless animals. Not cheap eats, but definitely a great value for the money.
