Two visits, great both times

We stayed nearby and ate here 2 of the 5 nights in town. Excellent food, the service the first visit was spotty but that was more our server than the overall staff as another waiter stepped in to cover for her. Good service; upstairs low noise level, always good food. An excellent choice is to order the lobster roll...the bun is filled with plenty of lobster...almost feels like you are n Maine.

Our go to spot for lobster bisque. The mango salad is s great pairing. Downtown Shirlington dining hotspot for decades for a good reason.

Never had a poor experience in all the times we visited. Food great, can be a tad noisy. Plenty of free parking. Excellent wait staff. Extensive menu. Our "go to" place for a great family meal (or couples). Always a line later in the evening.

I had family in town in Washington, DC and it was so crowded downtown, we couldn't find any restaurants able to accommodate us. We went to Shirlington, Virginia to try and accommodate our family, a group of 9 altogether, just miles out of DC and very pretty area. They not only accommodated us altogether at the restaurant, the service was... More

My partner and I stopped here on Sunday evening for dinner. Boy! Were we surprised, the dinner was excellent and well prepared. Christopher our server recommended the surf and turf being that I have never had crab cakes before. I must have been living under a rock all these years to have not tried it before. If you're visiting the... More

I had Tuna Steak and my date had a Lobster Roll, as well as a well-crafted salad. Both done to perfecton. Great service too. Average price for restaurants of this caliber especially in the Shirlington Arlington area.

We ate dinner here, my first time eating here. I had the fillet, it would melt in your mouth. Staff was very attentive. You couldn't ask for any better dining experience

My wife and I ate here based on Tripadvisor reviews and it did not disappoint. We had lobster bisque, fried green tomatoes, beef short ribs, filet and crab cake and banana pudding for dessert. Everything was excellent! Most tender short ribs ever. The staff was extremely attentive and taking care of everyone not just their tables. I appreciate that a... More

My husband and I were out of town guests and went with our friends who dine their regularly. They used the call ahead feature (which I'd highly recommend) so we were already on the list and only waited about 5 minutes. The food was delicious - I had the New Orleans shrimp and grits cakes which was a lovely variation... More
