Excellent food and service.

Don't be out off that this place looks old fashioned for old people... It is excellent ... Careful service, well prepared French menu. Able to linger over your meal with no pressure to leave. A treat.

Good escargot and onion soup, Mussels were confusing - some plump and delicious, some shriveled and chewy - all too salty. The one item that I would have missed out on if it had not been for our server's suggestion was the Tarte Tatin - not a simple apple upside down tarte but a magical puff with sliced apples. Mmmmmmmmmmmm

We visited on a cold snowy Valentine's evening. The owners greeted us personally and mad sure that we were comfortable at a lovely table. The cocktails were served promptly and were generous pours. The service was friendly and personalized even on a busy night like Valentines. The food was excellent. I had a filet of sole that the owner guaranteed.... More

Neither touchy-feely nor trendy, this Gallic outpost has been stubbornly toeing the line for decades. It just won't pander to American tastes. It insists on presenting French classics prepared well and served efficiently at fair prices. And it won't give up the white tablecloths. Oh, la la!

La Cote D'Or is one of our go to places. We usually go there for Sunday Brunch. The eggs benedict are the best in the area, and perhaps just about anywhere. The eggs are done perfectly, offering a creamy yolk over the ham and English muffin. The hollandaise sauce is great, with a lemon tang that is perfect. There are... More

This little gem has been an area staple for decades! The owners and their yummy concoctions are the reason this restaurant remains a perennial favorite! The atmosphere, on a busy corner just off Rt. 66, is a balm of calm for the nerves and relaxes the mind after a busy day or a wild week! Fabulous fresh flowers adorn each... More

Earlier this week on a business trip I had a wonderful dinner at this small, local French restaurant with my sister-in-law. We both had a delicious shrimp dish. I had eaten here before and had an equally wonderful filet of sole. The service is excellent, nice atmosphere and moderate prices. This is a hidden gem

La Cote D'Or is a nice French restaurant in Arlington. It has a nice ambiance, beautiful decor, attentive staffs, good service, food and beautiful art works. Loved my salad nicoise, main course and dessert. Looking forward to dine there again.

A wonderful little French restaurant. Have going there for 20 years. Old school menu with expected French bistro offerings, reasonable prices and good service. Works for me! Will admit to staying 4 hours last week after inviting a friend to a birthday lunch. We were not rushed. Had our meal and dessert and lingered over coffee. Staff seemed pleased that... More

I have been dining at Cote d'r for twenty years. I have never had a bad meal. Service is good, and the food is reliable. I have enjoyed quiche, hangar steak, sole, and beef. Their chocolate mousse is creamy and. rich. We often go for birthdays. It is a small family run restaursnt.
