Earlier this week on a business trip I had a wonderful dinner at this small, local French restaurant with my sister-in-law. We both had a delicious shrimp dish. I had eaten here before and had an equally wonderful filet of sole. The service is excellent, nice atmosphere and moderate prices. This is a hidden gem

La Cote D'Or is a nice French restaurant in Arlington. It has a nice ambiance, beautiful decor, attentive staffs, good service, food and beautiful art works. Loved my salad nicoise, main course and dessert. Looking forward to dine there again.

A wonderful little French restaurant. Have going there for 20 years. Old school menu with expected French bistro offerings, reasonable prices and good service. Works for me! Will admit to staying 4 hours last week after inviting a friend to a birthday lunch. We were not rushed. Had our meal and dessert and lingered over coffee. Staff seemed pleased that... More

I have been dining at Cote d'r for twenty years. I have never had a bad meal. Service is good, and the food is reliable. I have enjoyed quiche, hangar steak, sole, and beef. Their chocolate mousse is creamy and. rich. We often go for birthdays. It is a small family run restaursnt.

La Cote d'Or is a gem of a restaurant hidden in Arlington, Virginia. It is wonderful place for traditional French comfort food. The owner and wait staff went out of their way to make our party feel at home. Wonderful wine list, not over-priced. The dover sole is as good as it gets. Other entrees our party ordered were equally... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal at this wonderful French bistro. We made reservations through Open Table and only had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. The website asks for 'business casual' dress, and while some people were wearing sweatshirts, old t shirts, and jeans, most people were nicely dressed. The waiters were charming, and service... Although a bit of a splurge for lunch, this was well worth it for the food, ambiance and service. Very authentic, judging by the bread, butter, Croque Monsieur, mussels, frites, creme brûlée and wine. Will definitely look forward to returning.

High prices for run of the mill food. Attempts at good preparations can't overcome poor inputs. Meat was stringy. Dishes that should have been served hot were cold. Higher prices for wine -- and our first two choices were out of stock. And service suffers to the point of non-existence. Won't be back.
