I had never heard of this place until a friend took me here one day after Church. The place was busy but the order line moved quickly. I got the 1/2 chicken and my friend got the 1/2 chicken. We each also got the fries and coleslaw. Our order was served quickly and it was hot, tasty and delicious. I... More

Good, inexpensive chicken and fries. I used to live a block away from this restaurant and for like $5 you can get. 1/4 rotisserie chicken and fries that melt in your mouth. Fun, casual locals restaurant. It helps if you speak Spanish, but many of the employees speak English.

I've only eaten at a handful of Peruvian chicken places, but this one is the best so far (despite a lack of yucca). There aren't many options, but they do what they do very very well. I was getting takeout, and I was in and out (despite a line) in about 5 minutes. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the... More

Being going to this Peruvian style restaurants for many times the only one thing I can say this is the best place(the only place) that you can take your family to eat Peruvian style broiler chicken, is so good that if you go one time alone you will go again but this time with family or friends

This is what Pollo a la brasa should taste like. So delicious. Honestly I don't know what else to say to get to the minimum, because it isn't necessary. But go there and get some chicken!

Be prepared for long lines, bad customer service, limited English speaking staff, but be prepared to absolutely love your food. This place offers some of the best grilled and rotisserie style chicken in Arlington. While the place is literally a hole in the wall, tucked into a residential/commercial area, they do make some of the best chicken in the area.... More

This place is not nearly as exceptional as it used to be. The fact that there are now so many different chicken-on-a-spit places in Northern Virginia has really raised the bar a lot higher than it used to be, and I can think of at least two (Crisp and Juicy and Nando's) that I consider better for both food value... Ate dinner her with my wife while we were in Arlington and truly enjoyed it. The chicken was great; we split a whole one with coleslaw and fries as sides. As others have noted, it is quite a simple menu and they have it down to a science to manage the throughput. To me, that deserves four stars and I... More

El Pollo Rico the best chicken in the USA - and the best value. Opposite the Highlander Hotel and looks like everything it isn't -don't be put off! Go in and feast! You won't regret it.

Fantastic food, fast service, simple menu, and minimalist seating...but that last piece doesn't really matter. El Pollo Rico is a pretty cool experience. It's fast food, but not because they use microwaves (they don't). They do it through volumes and a simple menu. They have a lot of customers coming through every day, and with such a simple menu they... More
