Definitely dominates chipotles stab at asian style food (shop house). I found it fantastic, quality ingredients and FAST prep. Also very spicy and flavorful. Highly recommend for any Thai fan.

I was eager to go to Tom Yum District. We were closeby & I thought it would be a fun treat. The homemade Sirachas were nice. But somehow I felt super-rushed though the entire place & only felt at ease when I opened my rice bowl in a neighboring park. I don't suffer from claustrophobia but the mega-efficient assembly line... More

The Tom Yum District offers Thai food prepared with good, fresh ingredients in a pleasant cafe-style setting. Diners place orders with your choice of rice or noodles, combined with selections of protein or tofu, and veggies/condiments/sauces that are then prepared on the spot by the cook. Prices were reasonable (avg $8-$9 per dish) & the portions were good-sized as well...... More

i get why people compare it to Chipotle, because you build your meal down the line, but it is so much better than that! I had the pad Thai noodle base and they were delicious! The server was so friendly while putting the other toppings on my meal, he even offered me samples of the sauces. I went for the... More

An assembly line style service where you choose noodles or rice, a protein (chicken or steak) and a sauce, and they serve it up in a bowl with vegetables, salad and all sorts of crudite toppings (egg, sprouts, etc.) If you are a novice, go for the noodles, steak and panang curry sauce (it is not too hot, but excellent... We stumbled upon Tom Yum District while roaming around Rosslyn. Think Chipotle for Thai food. So you start with rice noodles, rice or a salad mix. Choose your protein...chicken, beef or tofu. Next come the vegetables and toppings like eggs, pickled cucumbers and hot Thai peppers. Next comes the sauce and then some awesome garnishes. The flavors are great and... More

I like this place. The staff are friendly. You walk up and place your order and they prepare it while you wait. The process is simple and straightforward. You choose the base, the meats, the toppings and then the sauces and soon you are ready to go. The quality of the food is good. You might want to see the... More

All ok. Just wished the cooks/ cashier are a little friendlier. It seems like they do not like their job. Food is good. Will go back when in the area. Highly recommended.

This place is almost hard to find away, tucked away close to Safeway on Wilson Blvd, but it's a great little discovery. Similar to Roti, it's the typical "pick your protein, pick your veggies" sort of line, and they process the lunch line very efficiently. The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. One of my... More

This restaurant is amazing. Tasty, healthy, and quick Thai food. The food portion is big (not huge but still a sizeable bowl) and well priced.
