Walked up yesterday and they have a sign up saying they're closed indefinitely. This place was never really that good so I'm not heartbroken.

A group of 10 friends went for habachi and we really enjoyed the huge servings of food but did not enjoy the service. We waited for 45 minutes before we even saw a server and waited another 30 minutes for our drinks. As soon as we finished our food, we were asked to leave. The service was terrible and no... More

Service is really bad. Management clearly doesn't care. The Hibachi is low-end. I wouldn't go back. The setup is strange too, with a front door that doesn't work so you have to come in the side door. Perhaps to avoid the roaches named by previous reviewer.

Roaches! Stopped by there today (2/01) for a quick bite, and the buffet looked good, but the food was old, dry, overcooked, and just plain nasty (you know: it's not that great, but there's a lot of it). I took a piece of sushi off a plate, and underneath a nasty, big roach ran away. The waitress, when I told... More

We went there on a Monday night for our anniversary and were greeted by a not so enthusiastic hostess/waitress. As we waited for more people to join our table a cock roach walked rite in front of us. I flicked him onto the big grill in front of us where he proceeded to cook. After we showed his carcass to... More

We have been here several times before, however, this time after finding several bugs on our plates and menus we had to leave. If a restaurant has so many bugs on the table what's going on in the kitchen where we can't see. Food used to be good but this grossed us out.

Compared to other Hibachi grills this one was definitely superior in quality and quantity and cooking service. The only distraction was a young waiter who had a senile memory, mixed orders up twice.

Hibachi restaurants are patronized more for theater than for gourmet food, and Matsutake was no exception. The chef adroitly juggled the utensils, deftly sliced the food on the grill, and showed off by tossing morsels into the open mouth of the birthday boy. The experience was well above average in that the chef remembered the orders and preferences of all,... More

These people appear to think that they get to decide how much tip we give. They charged my credit card for a few of dollars more than I indicated on the receipt...for the buffet, of all things, where we served ourselves. It wasn't even a good buffet. Basically they serve a generic Americanized Asian food -- everything is dripping in... More
