Good hotel food

I decided to stay in one night and eat at the hotel restaurant. The beer selection was better than expected here and I had some good brews. I got a pizza, which was ok but I saw some of the other things that people got and regretted not getting them. I definitely recommend this place though. Very... read more

Staying in the Renaissance made eating at Socci very convenient, but even if you aren't a guest at the hotel, dining here would be worth it! My husband had the Rockfish entree and I had

Since there are few restaurants near this hotel, we ate most of our meals here. Bad things first - it's not open all day, so if you feel like eating mid-afternoon, you are out of luck. There is a separate lunch and dinner menu, so if you feel like a sandwich for dinner, you are out of luck. My favorite... More

Grabbed a quick dinner at Socci last night after flying into DCA. This place has a cool vibe to it especially since it's attached to a hotel. It's modern, bright, open and somewhat noisy. Service was very good; attentive without being intrusive. Everyone we encountered from hostess to bus staff was friendly and I like that. However, the food wasn't... More

I would have liked to see more entrées on the menu, but every one I tried was excellent! There is an open counter into the kitchen, so you can see the care the chef takes w/ each meal, including yours. The wait-staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. If you want to try some slightly different meals, I recommend the Socci... More

If you "must" go out for dinner, I understand, but don't overlook what is right there in the hotel for dinner. Excellent food and a great choice. We ate at another Italian restaurant close by the day before, and the Socci was better. Hands down.

I enjoyed dinner at Socci, it was a short walk from my hotel in Crystal city, had plenty of choice on the menu and the meals were well presented. The furnishings are sleek and modern but the food was warm, comforting and tasted delicious.

The food was top notch and service was excellent. It's a few blocks walk to other restaurants - Socci was the obvious "easy button".

Poor selection; quality was average. Burger I had had that frozen tang to it; don't even want to talk about the black hair I found IN the burger when I'm a RED head! Breakfast was a MAJOR disappointment. Cold coffee and scum across top of cream pitcher. As much as I HATE McD's it's across the street and consistent.
