Lots of beer!

The main feature here is beer, lots of varieties. The menu gives some guidance as to taste, and the servers are helpful, but I would prefer more detail. Many of the selections come in small (really small) glasses, at $5-9 a clip. "Tastes" are $2 if you want a flight before you get all the way in... read more

My girlfriend and I are on our first vacation together and naturally she has every meal planned out. But just like the best laid plans of mice and men, her plan went slightly awry on the first night. We settled into the Westin in Arlington and we were planning on attending a local woodfire pizza joint. Unfortunately, it was closed... More

I was craving some good pizza and explosive taste of Rustico's carrot humus as my last bite was nearly 6 months ago. Their carrot humus has been high on my favorite appetiser list for a long time. I took the family for a Sunday lunch and was deeply puzzled. The Butcher's Block meat pizza seemed more like an underdone freezer... More

One of the best choices in the Ballston area for a casual dinner. They have an amazing craft beer list, with selections that are not available anywhere else. I recommend having one of the salads. Both we had (the kale salad and the beet salad) were excellent. Pizzas are a solid choice. We shared a mushroom/spinach pie and it was... More

Ballston is a completely uninspiring part of Arlington; it has office buildings, apartments and no green space. If you need to eat out, however, in this area Rustico is a great option. The service was outstanding. We were very well attended to by both the "beer sommelier" (I don't know what they are really called) and our server. We were... More

The beer selection rocks but the food was really "meh". I had the Pork Schnitzel and it was way over cooked and dry as a bone. The greens and nuts just couldn't save it from its shortcomings. My friends had pizza and I can safely say that I won't be ordering chickpea crust in the future. Gluten free shouldn't be... More

Our second visit to this restaurant did not disappoint. Wait staff are happy to make recommendations. From the distinctive flavors of the deviled egg & pretzel bite appetizers to grilled salads, wood-fired pizza, pork chops or scallops; you will enjoy every fresh taste. Arrive before 7 PM for happy hour pricing on wine & beer!

Lots of beer choices is an understatement, if you want choices, or want to try something different they have you covered in beer selection. Good pizza, salmon, and chicken, risotto tater tots yummy.

The last time we were here, we didn't have a reservation, and ended up dining in the bar area. On this visit, we made a reservation ahead of time, and had a nice table toward the back of the restaurant. It was the first day of their fall menu. And we were happy with the selections available. I must say,... More

Rustico at Ballston is a few short minutes from the Metro station on Wilson Boulevard with indoor and outdoor seating. Their beer selection may not rival the "beer palace" a few blocks away, but you'll still find it difficult to make a decision about which brew to choose. Rustico offers a very wide variety of ales, hoppies, and cask drafts... More
