Had dinner at the Taverna on a Friday evening. Great variety of food at affordable prices, and the freshly baked Lebanese bread is very much worth the visit alone! Try the Lebanese sampler and enjoy the wide-range of homemade fare.

The food was well prepared, authentic, and really really good! The service was a little slow, but it is a nice place for a leisurely dinner.
The food was wery delicious and tasty lebanese taverna is great in salads house salad yogurt salad and try mousaka and any other delicious meses the you want regret they are delicius....
The dinner began with wonderful warm pita bread. We had a mélange of mezze, which was good. But my salmon was dry and came with a tomato and cilentro sauce that was very spicy, although it was not described that way on the menu -- fortunately it was served on the side. My husband's sliced lamb was ordinary.
This was our go to restaurant in the past. They had great chicken scharawma and a host of other small plates we would order. The place was always packed and busy. So why did they change the menu to sandwiches from small plates?! We haven't been back since.
Excellent food and service. Prices are very reasonable and the food was great. We would go back more often if we lived closer. it would be on our regular visit list. Which is a rare find.
My husband just likes Middle Eastern food. So for Easter lunch after church, we drove to Pentagon Row to eat at a place where our son-in-law used to visit when he worked near there. we went to the original location I think, so it took more than a minute, but once we arrived, the service was good, the atmosphere beautiful,...

We had a reservation and waited 40 minutes before being seated. That was the bad part. Otherwise, the food was very good, especially the eggplant salad and sea bass. The manager was very apologetic and comped us hummus. I think they are just very busy, very popular and it isn't always easy to gauge how long diners will dine.
This was my time to Lebanese Traverna and I can't wait to go back. In fact, this is my new favorite place! Food was fabulous - far better than other similar restaurants I've been to. Staff was well attentive without being annoying. Not too loud so quiet conversation at the table was possible. I dislike having to yell at dinner...

Very disappointed. The menu changed and it is just standard fare and not well cooked. The meat was overcooked and dry. The bread was very insubstantial and tasteless. I could go on but I won't. I'm simply not returning.
