I've eaten at this Lebanese Taverna since it opened many years ago. The food is still very good, but I feel it isn't as good as it's been in the past. The restaurant also needs to be refreshed...decor is worn. And the service is rushed...not as welcoming an experience.

Tried the taverna with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed the different foods on offer. So if you fancy something different give it a go. Service and price both great!

It has been quite some time since I've had a meal here and I was not disappointed. The menu is fairly extensive, the service is friendly, and the food is very, very good. I ate my first Lebanese meal in the US here (I've been to Lebanon) back when they opened a restaurant on Conn. Ave in DC some 30... More

Food was very good, however, you need to shout to be heard. I felt like the table next to us was part of our party. It was way too noisy. Owners trying to maximize revenue by jamming the tables too close together. Made for an unenjoyable experience.

Visited here many time for lunch and dinner. Always enjoyed the food and the good service. A solid choice when you are looking for middle eastern food.

I've visited Beirut and was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and quality of this Lebanese restaurant in Washington DC. Even down to the portion sizes and variety! All round value and quality. I am very impressed!

Just thinking about the Lebanese Taverna offerings makes me want to hop in the car and go there for a bite. Food is always fresh and completely authentic. A dizzying assortment of mezza, small plate dishes, can become your meal, or select a few as appetizers and tuck into an entree. Strong points: tasteful decor; hot, freshly made pita upon... More

LOVED the service, loved the bread, loved the appetizers. Had hummus and lamb. I lived in Turkey for 2 years and was thrilled to find this top-tier, well-priced find in the area. Lots of selection on the menu for the picky. We had a gluton-free vegetarian with us and she had plenty to choose from. Absolutely will return.

Some coworkers and I visited this location for lunch after a morning of meetings. The food was very good; I had the fatteh, which was excellent (especially once I realized that I should mix it up/together). The hummus was also tasty, and each of us were able to find our favorite.
