First Time Visit

I have walked by Lyon Hall many times but had never stopped in. A couple of friends suggested going there. The food and service were good.

You want a place that really knows what it's doing when it comes to fresh ingredients well prepared? You want a place that really knows what it's doing when it comes to customer service? You want a place that really has available parking in Clarendon? Then you want Lyon Hall. I went for brunch with a friend and from the... More

The four of us enjoyed the french press, doughnuts and egg dishes. All were very good. I had the poached eggs with french ham and it was very tasty and my wife enjoyed an omelette of the day. When we are in Arlington visiting my daughter, we look forward to breakfast here. I don't think you will be disappointed.

My wife, son and his girlfriend enjoyed a meal sitting outside recently...the meal was good but not outstanding...I had the breaded pork chop with potatoes and salad...salad was very good but the pork chop was a bit chewy...we did enjoy the heated olives and pretzel with various 'dips' as an appetizer...very yummy!...the waiter was attentive...I'd go back but probably order... I ordered the mushroom schnitzel with potato salad. Fear not! The portobello was not deep fried. It was nicely prepared with sautéed onions and other condiments on a freshly baked bun. The bread was outstanding. The best part was the potato salad. I order potato salad rarely but it seemed to go with the main dish. It reminded me of... More

What's not to like? We had a party of five work our way through the Lyon Hall menu with pretty good results. It starts with their beer/wine menu, which is relatively extensive and varied. We moved on to a really nice five-cheese plate and a pot of mussels in white wine. Luckily, we hadn't ordered yet and were able to... More

I've been here alone. I tried the burger and I recommend to medium rare. If you are not on diet, try the French fries. It's just wow

Visited recently to celebrate a family members birthday. The appetizers to begin with were fantastic. The steak tartare, boar rillette, smoked salmon and cheese platter were excellent. The entrees however were hit and miss. The pan roasted duck, steak and frites, and sautéed mushrooms were well done. However the Thai curry mussels and pork schnitzel were dull and flavorless. Some... More

Located right on the corner on Washington Blvd., is Lyon Hall. It is my son's favorite restaurant to take family to when we visit him. There are tables both inside and outside. We had reservations, which I strongly suggest on the weekend. There were many patrons waiting to be seated. Had a bit of a shaky start once we were... More

After failing to get a table at several downtown brunch hotspots, we decided to try Lyon Hall.we enjoyed it very much. All age patrons -- 2 to 92! Just enough service (they were packed and so very busy.not a normal Sunday.) One of the owners came by to tell us about the place. our breakfasts for lunch were tasty. The... More
