Love most of the menu, but especially the spaetzle. The egg white omelet was light and tasty, the french toast was not light, but very yummy, too. I didn't get a beer last time, but this is one of my favorite places for a great beer selection

Not sure if this is a bar with a restaurant or a restaurant with a bar. Certainly the bar scene is lively and loud, the clientele young, and the ambiance casual. We loved the fact that they had a corkage fee and we could bring a decent wine from home, would rather pay $20 to drink my own wine than... More

This is my go to place in Arligton VA. $1 oysers all day Monday may be the best food deal anywhere. From mussels to hangar steak; from brunch donuts to endive salad; they have lots of tasty choices and at good prices. Drinks/wine/beer seletion is good too. The only issue I have is that some things are bit heavy handed... More

I had scallops with a side of french fries. The french fries were very good and the scallops OK. One should be careful to not overcook scallops but these had scarcely been waved in front of a warm smile (OK, I exaggerate but they were mainly raw). Luckily I like sashimi and so I did not request a second searing.

We were a larger party for Friday night dinner. Definitely call for reservations! We were seated upstairs which definitely helped with communication around the table. While the service could have been more attentive we were provided wine options and bread before ordering appetizers and entrees. The scallops were delicious and the presentation was exceptional. After dinner we walked downstairs in... More

While I would return here for the food, I think the service needs some fine tuning. We had a table with three couples. Our waiter was very attentive in the beginning, and the GM even came to explain the Restaurant Week specials. After that, however, the service was touch and go. We were not served any bread until we requested... More

Lyon Hall has been on our restaurant list for quite some time. Friends have talked about how good their food is and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to take my wife's parents there for Restaurant Week. Unlike many other local restaurants, Lyon Hall did not have a set Restaurant Week menu. You were allowed to pick any items off... More

Reviews on Internet were quite good, and our experience lived up to the 4.3 out of 5.0 rating. I had the duck, which was cooked perfectly and the kale-turnip- fig side was a terrific complement. I was there with friends and all enjoyed their meals. Waiter didn't hover. Place was lively but not overly loud. We ate upstairs which was... More

I came here twice during Restaurant Week, once for lunch and then again a few days later for dinner. Was impressed both times with the high quality of the appetizers and desserts. The trout I had during the lunch was overcooked, but the swordfish dinner portion was done perfectly and the side vegetables were a perfect compliment. I would definitely... More
