As if I died and went to Europe

They have done my kids beautiful birthday cakes and wedding cakes for years. Pricey but worth it. You will drool on the glass. The white chocolate mousse cake is to die for!

Every chance I get to DC I will call in advance and make sure that they have this - if not then I will order it in a cake size. It is absolutely delicious - it is light and sweet and just makes you want to eat more. I have never had a dacquoise before and this was the best... More

This place sold me a dried out chocolate cake that was at least three days old for my grandson's birthday. I was totally embarrassed. I could have purchased a better quality birthday cake at the supermarket for one quarter the price. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. As a longtime customer, never again.

I stopped in here after breakfast at the cafe down the street, just to pick up a little something sweet. I had no idea what I was walking into. Oh my! What an incredible selection of pastries. It was so hard to choose, and also hard to figure out what everything was! I ended up with a dozen rugelach, which... More

Simply the best French pastries in No. Va. Wide variety. The best dessert you can buy for a chic dinner party or a guilty pleasure. Great source for made to order cakes, including wedding.

I came here to pick up a few birthday sweets and was amazed when I walked through the door and saw all the beautiful pastries. But the awe and amazement was quickly interrupted by a very short, impatient older female server who had a "what do you want attitude." Her English is limited and when I asked questions about the... This is bar far the best pastry in the area. Most of what they sell us very authentic old style pastries that are made in house. Overall this is an excellent place.

We stopped to get some almond croissants for breakfast the next day, but made the mistake of looking into the display cabinets. We ended up buying three Danish, a half-pound of St. Patrick's Day linzer cookies, two apple pastries, and a little fruit tart to nibble on the way home! Everything is beautifully composed and presented, and the taste is... More

I visit Pastries by Randolph at least twice a month. Thier napoleons are our family's favorites. They are so light and flavourful. Our kids insist on Randolph's strawberry and cream cakes for their birthdays. The cream is light and "European" and makes you actually want to eat it with your tea or coffee. Unlike the icing on birthday cakes from,... More
