No one is more disappointed that Taglio’s closed than I. I have a void every time I want to have Italian food. Oh well, thanks for the time you were here. Arrivederci .

This place closed a few months ago, which is very, very sad. Yummalicious mozzarella, a great lemony roasted beet and arugula salad, with gigantic portions of the entrees. My boyfriend loved the lasagne, and I spent lots of time trying to select the least heavy seafood offering of the day in the hopes of not inhaling it all. The wait... More

This place looks like every other Italian place on this block of 23rd street but I was really impressed. We had pizza as an appetizer and I could see by my reaction and everyone at my table that we were wowed! Salad arrived and was fresh and had a light but favorable balsamic vingerette. I had seafood with linguini which... More

I went with a fairly large group (around 20) and they sat us upstairs in their simply styled, but more private room. What a treat, though. The menu and specials were a terrific blend of creative choices. Our appetizers and entrees were, to a person, all very well prepared and delicious. The service was patient and very prompt, as well.... More

Place is know for their coal-fired pizza oven and the pizza was fantastic but so was everything else our group ordered. I had the pepperoni pizza and the imported pepperoni they use was the best tasting pepperoni I've ever had. I can't remember everythign our group ordered but it was a good cross section of their offerrings but I do... More

I've been to this restaurant before and in fact am the party responsible for getting the restaurant on the tripadvisor map. I wrote the original review because the place was delicious and the service great. I downgraded my rating due to the incident below. I recently moved to DC and have a guest who I wanted to treat to this... More

My wife and I took a guest from out of town last Friday. I had the lasagna as I usually do. It has always been good, but this time it was so good, I got an extra one to take home for lunch the next day. My wife had the sausage and loved it as usual. Our guest from Georgia... More

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor during a recent stay in Washington DC. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was terrific. The menu is not run of the mill Italian, which suited the adults, and the kids menu and pizza were terrific for them. Great food, great service, great find. We'll be back.
