While they do have a complete sushi bar, they also have a full menu of classic Japanese dishes. I had the hibachi shrimp which was excellent.

Very good experience. Very friendly and efficient staff and really great food. I have to confess that I went only for sashimi but it was first class. Excellent quality and fairly sized portions. Great Uni (California - I was told). Highly recommended

Service was fast and outstanding and the food was fresh/great. Easily forgot I was eating in an airport restaurant! Very affordable too!

Miso soup was tasty and the spicy combo rolls were worth a try (a little dry but still very tasty). I love the fact that it was in the airport! I'll definitely come back.

I don't usually get sushi in airports. I've had it in Tokyo, but I'd expect that to be at least passable. But in Washington, DC? Scary thought, isn't it? However, when your low sushi warning light comes on, and you simply must have some nigirizushi or sashimi to tide you over, you'll sometimes do things you wouldn't ordinarily consider. Think... I usually give 3 ★s to all airport food joints due not only to inferior quality when compared to their city cointerparts, but also due to higher prices and smaller portions. I know they are confined by airport's small quarters and higher rental prices, but frankly I don't care. With that in mind, I was very pleasantly surprised by Matsutake's... More

Matsutake Sushi is a Korean-operated sushi restaurant in the main concourse of Terminal B at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. I had lunch sitting at the bar. The sushi is very fresh and very well prepared. Much better than average quality. The selection of cold sake is good. This is a very good airport restaurant. Note that it... More

I was leery of eating sushi at the airport, but very pleasantly surprised. This might be the best sushi I've eaten! My husband and I eat sushi frequently and tried several items including the Toro (fatty tuna) on special that day. All was fresh and delicious and worth the price. The service was impeccable and quick. I highly recommend Matsutake... More

It can be hard to find good food and service in the airport while traveling. If you are a sushi eater...this is the place in DCA. They have a good selection and fair prices. Service was very good. I had the Sashimi sampler...9 pieces and the gyoza...which was fried...I do prefer steamed. Still very good. Highly recommend for airport sushi...keep... More

I usually try to eat here when I arrive early to the airport. It is before you go through security. The food is alway good -- I especially like the Miso soup. There is a good selection as well. They provide a full menu of sushi choices, noodle dishes, main courses, appetizers and soups and salads. Prices are as you... More
