The restaurant is noisy but the menu is good. It has small plates. The portion size is really for one person and need to order several plates to satiate your hunger. Each plates are slightly expensive. Total cost for three people came to $130.00. We ordered fried plantains, Salmon, Duck and toast with topping. The desserts were very good. We... More

My boss and I ate here for lunch during Restaurant Week (deal was 3 tapas for $20 for lunch). We ordered beef empanadas, bacon-wrapped scallops and shrimp, paella mixta and a spicy shrimp dish. The food was excellent and the service was prompt and polite even though we were clearly the first customers of the day. The waiter was very... More

We were visiting my daughter, who lives in Rosslyn. We had reservations for Christmas Eve. Not only was the food and the selection a treat, but the service was as well. If it was this good on a night when many of the staff wanted to be somewhere else, then we will definitely come back on our next visit! The... More

We had a party of 10 people for a birthday celebration at La Tasca and we were very pleased with the restaurant. The food was excellent, loved the atmosphere and the service. It's a bit pricey but worth it.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It has good variety of menu. We ordered two kind of breads: one with Salmon and another with tomato and olive oil. Both were very good. From entrée we ordered crab cakes (very good), duck with lentils (good), and fried plantains with hot pepper sauce (very good). For dessert we ordered flan... More

I travel almost every year to Spain. Just love it! Just got back from a trip to DC where a friend took me to La Tasca for dinner. Seriously close to the metro (as I headed there from Dupont Circle in DC to meet her). Wow! The food was absolutely wonderful! Very authentic! (Except for the platanos fritos - but... More

We were last here for Father's Day 2013, and was disappointed with the menu and quality of food. We decided to try it out for my birthday and we were happy with the food and service. The Sangria also tasted better, especially with the booster shot! Look forward to going back again.

Outstanding food and awesome Sangrias. Tad pricey but worth it! To die for salmon and the most tender steak. Salads were delightful as was the atmosphere, romantic upstairs seating made for a wonderful dining experience.

We went to get tappas mid-afternoon on a Sunday. The atmosphere was nice (we ate outside), but the service was not very good. The steak was very tough. In fact, out of four pieces, two were full of grizzle and fat. The wait staff did not return until it was time for our check. No checking in if we wanted... More
