Great burger, fast service, friendly staff, reasonable price for DC. Would definitely go again. Onion fries were a great addition.

The burger was alright, but definitely didn't meet the hype. The chocolate shake was amazing,so that helped wash the burger down. Overall, I had much higher hopes for Ray's. It wasn't terrible by any means, but just not what I had expected.

Used google to find me a good burger place and Ray's Hell Burger came up. I have to admit from the minute we entered, I should have known it was going to be a let down. It was a midweek lunch visit, the one and only waitress was extremely busy and her attitude was even worse. We were on own... More

Ray's is basically an upscale hamburger joint. That said, it has table service and creative presentation of what is often a prosaic product

Turns out there's no such thing as a 'good' burger - just ones that some folks like, and some that other folks like. I thought the burger at Ray's was amongst the best I've had. Well char-grilled, juicy, well seasoned and the blue cheese and mushroom toppings worked brilliantly. Huge shout out to the crispy onion fries which are massively... More

My husband and I went to Ray's to the 3rd and had a shake & steak. The Oreo shake was great, the steak was good and the service was good. The surrounding and atmosphere was a bit fast food though...

This is supposed to be THEE place for the best burger in D.C. The problem is it isn't, or even close. While it's not awful, it's also no better than a burger you can get at Denny's after a few too many, and that's not why you seek out this kind of joint. The prices are way too high for... More

Been here in the past at it's new location across the street from where it used to be. Was in hunger need for a good burger so this was the place to go, so... I had gotten a few different burgers in the past that had jalapeños of some type, heck that's the name Ray's Hell burger, right? But this... More

The burgers were juicy and thick and the service was excellent. It was cooked perfectly with almost anything you want on it. We all (4 of us) got burgers and only one was a wrong order. They corrected the problem right away with no problem. It seem a little pricey for a burger, but what isn't these days.

Simple place. Excellent service. Menu is essentially burgers. Have great shakes and also onion fries are the best. If you are near their, stop on in for a casual good bite to eat.
