Good Eats!

We stopped by here after a day at Arlington. The burgers were thick, juicy and tasty. My husband had the Big Punisher (which is VERY spicy) and I had The New jack Zing. Both were delicious, as well as, the sides. For dessert I had to try the Bourbon, Bacon, Caramel MilkShake. What could be... read more

We decided to try this restaurant because it was close to Arlington Cemetery. When we walked up to it we thought that it was closed because there was no one in there. Once we realized it was open, we went in and ordered our food at the counter. The menu is posted on the wall and we were unsure of... More

Rays Hell Burger used to be my favorite burger place in DC, but sadly they lost their way since becoming Rays to the Third. I don't know if it's because they were trying to compete with other burger places in the area, but their once simple and amazing menu has now become more expansive and the cost of its quality.... At 10 ounces for the regular, there is no bigger burger that is better and no better burger tht is bigger.

Love a good burger, these were ok and pricey for burger. Should have tried a shake, they look good. Fries mediocre. Overrated

I had the big poppa. Should have had just a regular cheese burger to really enjoy the burger itself. Someone had told us the mac and cheese was awesome but I thought it was okay. The fries were better.

Didn't like it much; the food wasn't horrible but it wasn't good either. I've had better burgers in many, many other places.

When this place started off as Rays Hell Burger across the street from its current location it was off the charts. Big juicy burgers with freshly ground beef and innovative fresh toppings -- couldn't be beat! There was a line out the door! Then it expanded into Ray's to the Third and moved across the street. Added items like fried... More

Had wanted to eat at this place since I saw the news story some years ago of the President and VP chowing down here. Not sure this is the original, but pretty sure it is under the same ownership. For the good, burgers were very good. I had mine cajun style and was excellent. I got mine with the swiss... More

We always enjoyed eating at Ray's at the old location, and it was always jammed. We should have realized there was a problem, upon walking into the Wilson St. Restaurant, and seeing no one in line to order and an almost empty restaurant. The 3 hamburgers were ordered medium well were delivered to the table medium rare to raw. We... More
