This little place is probably THE best sushi place! Unpretentious, laid back, tiny, and most of all fabulously delicious! You will not find really fancy sushi creations here, just super fresh, delicious staples! At very reasonable prices! Can't wait to get back...most likely the day after tomorrow :-)

This is our favorite spot for sushi in Old Town. The restaurant is very small. I would recommend calling ahead to get take-out and enjoying it back at your house/hotel, particularly if you don't want to wait.

During DC cherry blossom, it is good idea to eat Japanese food. We purely pick up this place based on tripadvisor review. We arrive a little bit late, around 8:30pm. It is small and packed. When we arrived and waitress told us we need wait for 30 mins and a couple of guys ahead of us. We felt starved and... More

Yes you will wait, or you can order take out. This small charming sushi house is top notch. You will NOT be disappointed. The only thing I might mention, is that if you are on a budget, ask for the price of the specials before you order. They were much more expensive than the other items. This being said, the... More

I've been here several times with friends and always have high-quality, delicious sushi. I recommend it to anyone looking for sushi. Maybe not recommended if you have a large group as it is tiny. Upstairs is a little more spacious. Service is efficient and although it's not cheap, it's worth the price for the high quality meal.

I used Tripadvisor to find Momo, and we were not disdappointed. Sushi for dinner was among the best I've had anywhere. The restaurant is very small, and the staff is very efficient. Food came quickly, and it was obvious that this little neighborhood restaurant is a local favorite. It was fun to find great sushi off of King Streetin such... More

We were taken to MoMos by a friend that lives in Alexandria. After a long day of museum viewing we were tired and hungry. The menu had a wide variety of Japanese dishes but we went with the Maki roll combination preceded by miso soup and vegetable tempura. It was delicious when pared with a cold Sappro. A short wait... I read the reviws here to find a sushi place in Alexandria. Me and a friend had lunch here last week and boy was it good! It is a small restaurant, and I would never chosed it without the reviws here! We had sushi nigiri ordered from the list and their special salmon roll. It was all very good, but... More

My husband and I found this place thanks to TripAdvisor! It exceeded our expectations. It is true the place was small but they sit you really quick and the view and overall environment was nice. Food - We both had teriyaki chicken. Our food looked and tasted fresh. We both thought it was some of the best teriyaki chicken we... More
