This is a really good sushi bar and a great neighborhood restaurant. I've been here about 15-20 times, mostly take-out, and the food is always prepared quickly and the service is great. Is it the very best sushi I've ever had? No. But it's very good for the DC area and the prices (I think) are reasonable. The restaurant is... More

We have eaten here twice already. Food is great and the chefs are fantastic. The spring rolls are delicious and the beef is divine. Someone in our group ordered octapus and they loved it.

Amazing service and great blue fin toro. We ordered the unfiltered momokawa sake and were very happy with it. They don't have a gluten free menu but the manager, Kay,came over and made modification notes to our order to insure that it would be gluten free. They also have gf soy sauce. Our favorites for the eve were the blue... More

I love Japanese food and I used to live in Japan for long time, so I am very specific with sushi. Momo Sushi & Cafe is just average Japanese restaurant, and the sushi is over price. The chef cut the fish to thick make the Chirashi sushi didn't taste that good, but they do have fresh fish. We ordered Chirashi... More

I love this tiny Japanese restaurant! I don't usually like to dine out solo, but I enjoy it here. I love to sit at one of the sushi bars sipping miso soup as I watch the chefs prepare my order. I can never get enough yellow tail sushi. The fish is supremely fresh and perfectly prepared. Their salads are lovely,... More

Momo Sushi was wonderful! Small but quaint atmosphere. Great service. The avocado salad was delish! Dragon roll was the family favorite.

Momo's is a nice little neighborhood sushi place, but it's way too small and crowded. The chairs are on top of each other, no room between tables and their sushi bar only has a few seats. The sushi was just okay and I actually like the 007 roll at the place up the street much better. The nori was not... More

Momo offers very high quality sushi and a very pleasant atmosphere in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, right next door to long time great, Bilbo Baggin's. The standards are all well done, and there are some nice specials. The SAKE selection is pretty extensive and fairly priced, as is not always the case in Sushi places. There is a lot of... More

A little pricey, but that's to be expected with the real estate near the beach. The place is hopping full, but they kept the tables cleared and reset quickly, and it never appeared to be more than a five minute wait. There is also a second floor with the same seating and additional sushi bar/staff. So, don't let the appearance... More

This little hidden sushi joint is one for the books! Great service, a mellow atmosphere, fresh, fresh, and fresh sushi! I have never been disappointed and I've tried at least one new roll every time. Well done Momo's!
