Not open on Tuesdays

Very tasty but not open on Tuesdays. Great place to walk to after dinner at the Sushi Bar or Holy Cow (best burger place on the planet)

I'm not sure what the hype is about. It is okay, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. The ice cream is almost to fresh and melts instantly.

The custard and other frozen treats here are fabulous! People stand outside in line for as long as it takes to get in. The employees work quickly and are friendly. It's a bit small inside, but well worth a visit, especially on a pretty day or warm evening!

The place is always. Busy but the line moves very quickly. This is the best ice cream anywhere. Try the muddy sneakers, frozen chocolate custard with chunks of browned and bits of pretzel. We walked there from Kig street in Old Town after locals recommended it to us. It's over a mile out but you feel even better about eating... More

Coconut, salted carmel, pumpkin - tried all three and loved them. Also some less common, more experimental flavors that I wanted to try as well but couldn't have everything! Hard to go wrong with this place no matter the weather. They didn't want a tip which was weird, but I tipped anyway - this rich and delicious ice cream, flavors... More

I live nearby this place and wasn't so sure about when friends told me about it, but it lived up to the hype. Their flavors of the day are not always so delicious, but their standard vanilla is the creamiest thing I've ever had, and their sorbets are all pretty darn good. We usually get their smallest cup with half... More

I live down the street and have stopped here a couple of times. The staff is very unenthusiastic and when I've asked "What's good today?!" they've been very "umm....this is pretty good i guess". They don't sell the product. The place definitely has some interesting flavors but not a lot of variety each day(at least not when I asked the... More

There is a reason why there are always long lines - -even in cold weather. They have the best custard and fabulous choices

Dairy Godmother is one of the best dessert spots in the DC Area. They have great Wisconsin custard, excellent sorbet, and an assortment of seasonal fruit crisps that go great with a scoop of custard or sorbet. Right now they have an apple cider sorbet that is incredible. Additionally, they have a small baked good section - my recommendation: the... More

He actually did....and there is a chair with this sign painted on it - a good picture opt if you are "for" or "against" him. This is the only place that has old fashioned custard "ice cream" - you can't go wrong with the plain vanilla, but there are many other options that change daily. A great family outing -... More
