True Irish chippery

Love the fish & chips here. The fish is a filet, not pressed together "fish of unknown variety." Their curries are good, too. This is just a fish & chips shop; seating is limited and can be noisy.

Went there half an hour before close on a Wednesday night. The server/man on the register was very unprofessional and he gave us an attitude about ordering food half hour before close, mind you the place was very empty and he was on his phone. He exclaimed " I would have to make the food" when we asked him if... More

I went for an early dinner, about 5:30pm on a Monday night and I was the only one in the restaurant. The cashier was not very friendly and could not have cared less if I ate there or not. Halfway up to the counter I had almost turned around and left. I asked if they were open because it was... More

Good fish and chips, greasy as I expected. Should have gotten the small portion instead of the regular. A little pricy but not break the bank high. Once on a trip is enough, probably not the healthiest choice but the food was good.

Unfriendly service, food fried in old oil with a hefty price tag for a tiny portion. Normally don't bother to write bad reviews, but this place is definately to be avoided.

Fish and Chips and Guiness....what more do you need! I took my Godmother here who is from England and she stated it was the best she had had on this side of the pond! Delicious...Highly recommend this place!

The business is located on an ideal location on King Street, but is so limited on dinning room. The prices are high for the quantity. I know the DC area is expensive, but was way over priced compared to similar locations in Georgetown. Quality okay, but not great.

They just hit all the points they need to for a quality chip shop. It's a little pricey, but it is Old Town, so expected.

Excellent crust on the fish, and super crisp chips. The fish is very fresh and cooked perfectly. Super yummy dipping sauces and served pipping hot.

Eamonn's is a cultural and culinary experience. It serves pub grub in a very basic way. Paper bags. We all had fish and chips and recommend it without reservation. The fish was crispy and tasty. Drinks are served in plastic cups, and they have Guinness on tap. There are two big, sturdy, picnic tables, a small bar, friendly service. This... More
