I am speaking as true Dubliner who has experienced Fish&Chips restaurants since I was a young lad. I have traveled all over Ireland and the World. Eamon's certainly ranks very high as a great Fish&Chipper. I have gone many times and every time I was not disappointed. Now here is something to think about before you start reading the bad... More

We stopped for a late lunch and we did have pretty big expectations, because Eammonn's was recommended to us, we left not sure what we received for the money. The fish was served in authentic style and was hot and crisp. The portion was somewhat smaller than we expected. The bottle of craft beer I selected was $7, a little... More

It is very good. It is greasy. You will feel the grease, but you will love the taste when you eat it. I didn't like the aftermath, but I did love the food. If you're from a place that specializes in the deep fryer, go for it!

Looked forward to eating at Eamon's but they were not very good this time. The fish was greasy & the French fries not crisp. Service was good & beer was cold but since we were there the last time food was not up to par. Maybe it was an off day or maybe the Irish chap was off that day.... More

The fried fish is great, as are the fries. It was crowded on a Friday evening during Lent. Seating is limited and the to-go crowd seamed to outnumber the folks expecting to sit.

Fresh fried fish, huge hot fries, and a cold beer! There's not a lot more but what more do you need?

Best Chipperie in the DC area...hell, the only one I really know about. Don't blow it, get the large cod and split a large fry. Hint of the year, like another favorite of mine, Kabob Palace, want to avoid a wait? Call ten minutes out. Jackpot.

Eamonn's is the perfect place for fish and chips, they are made to order and the tartar sauces are fantastic. I would rate this among the best fish and chips I've ever had. The location in Old Town is fantastic but seating is limited, so you made need to grab and go. I've never had their deep fried candy bars,... More

This restaurant, which I have visited numerous times on the encouragement of my family, is just another example of a good idea gone bad. The food itself is descent, but heavily priced and is not necessarily worth the calories. I found that the service was lousy as well and it took fifteen minutes to get a meal generally considered to... More

Our for a stroll, popped in and shared small cod and small chips with the wife Hands down, the most delicious fish and chips we have ever had It's an " order and sit" place, small and earthy, but oh, the food is awesome
