Menu is varied, the dishes are excellently prepared, and the staff is terrific. We particularly like the fish fajitas. The Los Tios salad is magnificent, especially when covered with chicken or beef. The margaritas are delightful. Going there for my birthday. Can't wait.

We are new to the Alexandria area and have been looking for a go to Mexican restaurant and we finally have found it in Los Tios Grill. The service was excellent and the food was great and plentiful. It is very family welcome.

Finally, a DC Mexican restaurant we can approve and call out favorite After 7 years we found it Austin Grill had the Carne Asada, but new owners and new chiefs killed it. This place killed it!! Great marinate and just the right combination of grill and other plate items were succulent I tried the Polo Veracruze, absolute the best Maybe... More

This place is a family favorite. We've been eating here since they first opened and the whole restaurant only occupied the space of the current bar. The staff have ALWAYS been friendly and fantastic with children. We haven't had a bad meal and any time there has ever been a problem is has been fixed immediately. Give them a try,... More

I was spending a few days in the DC area visiting family and friends, and one afternoon, I decided to take in a movie. At the end of the movie, I looked for nearby restaurants, and Los Tios Grill came up. I'm always looking for good Mexican food when exploring an area, and the local enterprises are inevitably better than... More

This is not a great restaurant. The Mexican-Salvadorian cuisine is predictable for this genre. The premises are spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor options to choose from. The service is about average. The main dishes including fajitas are good but make sure they bring the dish you ordered. I had the combo shrimp, beef and chicken and they neglected... More

I love this place. We are always greeted by the owner, who is a robust, friendly and dedicated food establishment professional. It's by far the best Mexican/Salvadorian food within miles of this area and all of the items I've ordered there over the years have been excellent. The drinks are also perfect...make sure to try the Baja Margo...it's great. My... More

This was my first time to Los Tios. The service was excellent. Everything came out very fast and we were well attended to even though it was extremely busy. My meal was very good, and my friend's meal looked very good. However the favorite part was the chips & salsa! The chips were so thin - almost like paper -... More

Experienced dinner the other day, and the place was packed. Parking was not the best, but the food was very excellent and plentiful and service was awesome!!! The tequila menu was extensive, and the price was right for the area. Well recommended.... A good family restaurant !
