OK but not better than average

Good pizza but if you need a refill on your wine or water, you might as well forget about it. Our waitress was not attentive most of the time as I believe she had way too many tables to wait considering the lack of other servers. This could be a great place to go when they don't have many... read more

Huge variety of beers from around the world. The Brunch menu is basically standard from week to week, but always great. My wife and I went with friends and had a great time. You will love this place.

I just went here for an early supper tonight, and I thought it was ok. I thought it was a little tacky to use plastic dipping sauce cups, but whatever. The food came out fast, and the waitstaff were nice. I'd probably ask for the salad dressing on the side next time. The mandarin chicken salad was drowning in it,... More

Decided to eat here our first night in Old Town - and what a great introduction! The décor and feel of the restaurant is cozy and peculiar, but very pleasant. The food was inventive and delicious - and the selection of beers was vast and eclectic. A good time was had by all on our adventure to Bilbo Baggins -... More

Excellent food! Great hobbit theme. Definitely not something to take small children to. We took our 5 year old son and he did fine. Not sure I would take any children younger than 5. A few couples got pretty cozy while we visited.

The last time we visited felt welcoming and comfortable, like the Shire. Delicious food, excellent brews, and a welcoming bartender that really cared for the tavern. On our recent journey, Bilbo Baggins was a shell of its former self. The food was average pub fare. The bartender was polite but didn't have a strong beer knowledge or seem too interested... More

We had a 7PM Saturday reservation and our party of 4 was seated promptly. It was very busy as you would expect. We were seated upstairs which would be our future preference as downstairs was more of the bar area and very loud. Once seated upstairs we checked out the extensive beer menu. We all had other drinks and I... More

Beer selection is amazing. Food menu appears great, sadly the follow through leaves much to be desired. The chef needs to learn what salt is for, as in use it. We ordered the swordfish , it was so sweet you couldn't taste any of flavors. However, it was plated nicely. Atmosphere is nice, server was very attentative. I would receommend... More

Stopped in for late day dessert for kids and brews for mom and dad. Love the idea, love Lord of the Rings. Great ambiance, great beers, great desserts. Loved it and would like to go back for lunch or dinner. A really fun place!
