Good little Hobbit Hole Place

A fun place to go. Nice range of meals with lamb, duck, steak and more on the menu. Wonderful dessert selection along with extensive beer and alcohol choices. Fresh baked breads and gourmet quality on all things served.

Loved the atmosphere, the decor, and the selection of beers. Me and my family went to dinner on Friday and returned for brunch on Saturday. Great location and couple blocks from the waterfront. The service was fantastic and will be returning back for more!!

This is typical american bar food but it is excellent and the service is great. The restaurant itself is worth the visit. Parking can be a challenge.

I joined several friends for lunch at Bilbo Baggins and was pleasantly surprised by their extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the raisin bread French toast and my mother ordered their Southern VA biscuits and gravy. Both were excellent choices. Don't let the small storefront deter you. They have two floors of seating and can accommodate large groups.

Stopped in while bar hopping in Alexandria! Fun & enjoyable atmosphere with great beer selection. We peeked at the menu, however we did not stay to eat. Would recommend at least stopping by.

My wife and I were exploring the Alexandria area and she suggested that we stop for dinner at Bilbo Baggins. The restaurant has a old pub feel with old eclectic signs on the walls and high tables and chairs. We were seated promptly and complimentary bread was brought as soon as we sat down. Our waitress was excellent (I wish... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit last night. The food was exceptional with a menu for all. And for the beer and cider enthusiasts they have a huge and great selection!! That staff was great, friendly and very curtious. I will definitely be back!!!

I can't describe how excited I was when we found this place in Alexandria. For any Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan, this place is awesome. The Green Dragon Pub is adorable (I really wished I could have purchased one of their pint glasses as a souvenir), and they give you raisin bread at the table. If you're in... More

Stopped by after touring the Carlyle House. Neat little place with numerous beer selections. Quite a few unusual ones on tap, the rest were bottles. Food was good as well. I had a 10 in pizza and my daughter had the pulled pork sandwich. The menu had food and drinks named after people and places in the books. The prices... More
