Are here with biz associates. Nice atmosphere. Fun kind of southern vibe with goofy/kitschy artwork on the wall. Cool bar area. Good beer selection. Nice menu. I had sweet potato waffle with fried chicken tenders and sausage gravy. Swore I wouldn't eat it all. I pretty much did. Solid service.

Always a great meal at a great price. Love the bread basket, meatloaf and sides. The Mac -n- Cheese is the best around! You always leave satisfied!

We met up with some friends for a total party of six. I called ahead to see if we needed reservations which they recommend for a party of six of more. Upon arrival, it a sports bar at the entrance with the restaurant off on one side, the two are separated so its that that noisy once your seated. The... More

The atmosphere here is great..there is a bar area and a restaurant, plus an outdoor area. The food is also solid- great po-boys, great omelettes, great sandwiches (including a jambalaya sub). It can get crowded on nice days at brunch on the weekend, but it's not a big deal. I am now a regular at this place..big fan!

On our last night in Washington, D.C., a friend took us on a driving tour of the area and we ended up at Southside 815. The food was good and the ambiance was truly "old school". I ordered the Carolina nachos, my husband ordered a cheese burger and our friend ordered the shrimp po'boy.

Southside 815 feels like home. The staff are polite and well mannered. The food is excellent no matter what we order. This restaurant has turned into the place we take guests from out of town. If you're sick of the same old breakfast platters at the chain restaurants, try Southside 815. If you want an amazing pot roast but don't... More

Had a coupon so we tried it out. Good food, real southern classics. Service was real good. Try the sweet potato biscuits, yum! A little off the path of the main tourist area but worth the trip.

One of our favorite places to eat in the Old Town area although a bit south of the city action. Never a disappointment, the food is always terrific, and the service has never been anything but excellent. The daily specials are spot on butthe rest of the menu is not to be passed by because everything we have had in... More

I like Southside - I've been there several times with several different people. Everyone has liked it. It's very casual. You can hang out in the bar area, the dining room, or (weather dependent) sit outside. It's not a quiet atmosphere - whether Sunday brunch (families in the dining room and football fans in the bar), but the food is... More

Overall food was good. Crawfish PoBoy was very good, only thing I would change was my choice of suace, breading on crawfish was light and tasty. My wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak and my 2 boys devoured their chicken Cesar salads. My dad got a tough piece of meat on his chicken fried steak and his meal was replaced... More
