Great place; one defective waitress

Our second visit, first was fabulous. This time, waitress needs training. Waitress was NOT attentive. Food was correct, and delicious. Price was believable; far lower than most other places in Alexandria.

We were staying in the a Westin and did not want to keep paying $70 to eat breakfast there so we tried this restaurant. There are not many breakfast restaurants in this area. It is a small place with tables very close. It has obviously not been redecorated in many, many years. The servers are very rushed and unorganized. The... More

We stayed in Alexandria while visiting Washington recently and happened to walk past this breakfast and lunch restaurant. It closes at 3 p.m. most days. What attracted me were the beautiful rose bushes outside. Inside, each table had a rose in a glass. I assume this is a seasonal thing. If you are staying at one of the hotels near... More

We love going here for breakfast! The food is great & the service is too. Parking is limited so try a side street - worth the effort.

Except for the very limited menu, the place is pretty good. Tasty omelette, delicious pancake and good service ... Went twice during our vacation !

Recommended by a local concierge, Table Talk lived up to its billing as a great family-style breakfast spot. We got there a little later than we had planned and the parking lot was full. After a short wait we were seated, gave our orders, and quickly got our meals notwithstanding a packed house. Restaurant ambience and food quality are good,... More

One of our favorite meals to eat out is breakfast and we rate the place by the potatoes. Good potatoes/home fries, seasoned with paprika. We had omelets both days we ate here, they were fluffy and full of filling, one day was ham and cheese, next morning sausage and cheese. Good size portion of potatoes and toast. When we return... My family and I visited for breakfast. My hubby and mother both had the western "omelette" which really should have been called western scrambled eggs and hash browns which were refrigerator cold and had to be sent back.. I ordered the corned beef and eggs, which although tasty, it was obviously canned. Dennys is cheaper and in my opinion a... More

Standard diner food, affordable prices (hard to find in Old Town), quick and friendly service. It is difficult to mess up breakfast but we've experienced that. NOt here! The eggs were cooked perfectly, everything came out hot and our coffee and tea was refilled frequently.
