I ate dinner at Restaurant Eve with some friends, and had a delightful meal at this bucket-list restaurant. While I wasn't constantly and consistently impressed, it gets a solid 4.6 stars. The four of us were given a very nice table near the corner of the restaurant, which gave us a certain amount of privacy with our conversations. I appreciated... More

Finally found an opportunity to dine at Restaurant Eve. We had the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Foie gras, scallop, crispy pork, lamb loin, black sea bass...everything was wonderfully prepared and presented. Only complaint is that I really struggled to finish it all. Did I mention the beautiful bread? We will most certainly go back but perhaps will order... More

Sommelier was great, food was thoughtfully prepared, different and excellent, room was quietly comfortable and tables were large. Excellent service but can't say it is a great value as all expensive restaurants leave questions. That being said I will return soon.

Food = 4.5 stars out of 5 Service = 5 Stars out of 5 Overall experience = 1 STAR Ordered a bottle of wine (clearly pointing out my choice on the wine menu). On the check was a wine charge that was 60% more than what I ordered. When I pointed out the error, the general manager said, “regardless of... More

One of the top three choices for fine dinning in Alexandria, you are in for a treat. I recommend going on a week night as it is very crowded on weekends and the service suffers and in some cases you may feel "rushed". The food is imaginative and simply excellent. The staff know three wines too.

I met a girlfriend here for dinner and everything about the experience was superb. I arrived early and had a drink in the cozy bar while I waited. The bartender was friendly, welcoming and mixed a great drink. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet, intimate and inviting, just like a lovely country inn. Great for a nice evening catching... My wife and I, along with two other couples recently dined at Restaurant Eve. Once there, we found the physical facilities to be very charming and "comfortably" sophisticated. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming to our party and we were immediately shown to our table. The staff was thoroughly pleasant and the restaurant was amply staffed. Every request was... Beautiful little inn.We were celebrating our anniversary and had good things about Restaurant Eve. We decided to go for lunch as the menu is a bit pricey. The service is attentive and careful, but not formal. Felt well-cared for. The entrees are classic, but with a contemporary flair and a lot of attention to detail. Seafood stew was unbelievably good.... More

Eve is a special establishment which you will enjoy! The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. The food was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The menu was diverse and the wine list was varied and outstanding. I had heard that the table staff were snooty but I did not find this to be true. In fact, our table staff was very... More

We stumbled upon Eve while wandering around Old Town one night. The small hidden walkway to the restaurant is enchanting and feels like you've discovered a treasure so we nicknamed it the Secret Garden The restaurant feels like you're having dinner at someone's country house but the service and customers make it feel less homey. Be sure to make a... More
