Neat venue, excellent food and exceptional service. A must visit if you're in the area. Our group had the buffalo wings and beaters and mash. Delicious! Will definitely return when we are back in the area.

Didn't have time to have a meal in it (it was bigger at the back) but the part we drank in was tiny. None the less, it was adequate for its purpose. Would definitely go back there again, this time for a meal too.

Enjoyed Alexandria va, old town. Shopping expensive but special. Quaint and welcoming. Noisy but tasty. Service a little too quick

Fun little Irish pub in old town Alexandria. We had onion rings - good but no sauce unless you wanted some ranch dressing for $.50 more. The meatloaf was good but the gravy over it tasted like it came out of a can and this gravy was also on the mashed potatoes. Both would have been better without it. The... More

The Irish guitar player upstairs is a ton of fun. It is packed early on but clears up so you can get a table. Nice selection of brews.

Murphy's has margarita Mondays and this is why we stopped in when we were walking by. As for the atmosphere, it is very dark in the bar which was a disappointment because it was such a nice day outside. I am from the Boston area so I've been to plenty of Irish pubs and this one was just average. The... More

Nice homey restaurant and bar in Old Town. The food is good, wait staff are wonderful and cordial. Drinks are reasonable for Old Town, and so are the dinner prices. I like the meat and potato pie and the irish stew. In summer you can sit on the outdoor patio if seating is available. This pub can get pretty loud... More

Visited this place with friends after a play, walked from Little Theatre of Alexandria here, worth every step I took to get here. First, good music, second, dancing in front of the band, third, good selection of beer on tap. Crowd was lively, musicians were excellent - two guitarists singing Irish drinking songs, service outstanding, stayed to closing. Didn't eat... More
