Nice place for meals

Nice variety of BBQ flavors and even offerings for folks who aren't fans of BBQ. Wait staff was great; service was quick. Although I'd recommend fish places for anyone in this area, this place is great, too.

Went with high expectations. Patrons were a nice crowd. Rum and coke at the bar barely had any rum. Bar tender seemed to be running the whole place and directing the staff. Over in a corner a three piece Bluegrass band was warming up, starting tunes but not finishing them. Very strange, but crowd seemed impressed. We decided to stay... More

Bad service. Bad food. Overpriced. Ribs were ok but with so many other choices, spend your money elsewhere. "Spinach pie" was essentially creamed spinach. Turkey chili had no turkey. Decor is cool but that's about it. Manager couldn't really care.

During our one night stay in Old Town Alexandria, VA we enjoyed supper at King Street Blues. This restaurant is in an old house structure right off the Main Street (King street) through town. It was a very short walk from the trolley stop. Our family of 6 had ribs, country fried chicken and a cheeseburger kids meal. The burgers... More

Awesome BBQ and pulled pork! Went on an extremely busy night and still had a great time. All 3 stories were packed but were seating really fast. Our food was hot and delivered quickly and the wait staff are extremely helpful! They have an entire gluten free menu. No gluten free breads though but did have some good options so... More

A late afternoon Lunch, so not exactly a testing time - we were the only diners [upstairs] and a few people at the Bar. Server seemed a little under-confident at first, but got better! Decent food, modest/sensible portions [depending on your nationality] and VERY tasty. The photo is of the Beef Brisket and Andouille Sausage ... choose your own 3... More

My boyfriend actually found this place and I must say that outside doesn't seem like MY typical type of restaurant. However I must say my initial reaction changed after eating the food. The catfish is great! Lightly breaded.....perfectly fried....the hush puppies good and southern style.... The ribs seasoned and smoked to perfection. The staff was friendly and seemed to be... More

I've eaten here a number of times and always had a good experience. This place is convenient if you're in Old Town and the decor is interesting.

This wasn't my first and probably won't be my last visit to King Street Blues. The biggest advantages to dining here are there's something for everybody on the menu, the reasonable cost of dining and I've never been served anything other than an ice cold beer. The downstairs is a tight fit; pretty much a small bar and a few... More

Went to this fantastic little gem right off King Street and had the most wonderful meal - Jumbalaya Pasta! What a great meal!
