Great food & atmosphere

Loved this place...the artwork alone is worth stopping in for, but the food was great too. Grilled tilapia sandwich was my pick. Try the hushpuppy appetizers with remoulade sauce. Yum!

The food and service were excellent.Good portion size for adults and children. our waiter was the best(brooklyn accent) and kept a smile on his face. his recommendation on the meals were on point, very friendly .if you want good food, good atomosphere, friendly waiters, safe area and good price for the amount of food you get-go there before you go... Recently went to King Street Blues for dinner with our two kids for the very first time. Fabulous meals all around and very friendly and helpful service. Our waiter, Derek, was on point when it came to knowing the menu and offering his input on options. My husband had the jambalaya penne which was suggested by Derek and there were... More

King Street Blues has a menu with some variety to satisfy a variety of people. Casual atmosphere with interesting decor add to the experience. The food and service were both good and the prices were reasonable.

While in Alexandria we wanted to go eat where we've never been. While checking through our travel guide we came to the description of this restaurant and it was the home cooking we were looking for! With 90 sight-seeing tourists upstairs and another 100 on our their way we were nervous of our wait the food came out 20 minutes... More

The outside of the restaurant looks very cool and inviting but the food is well below average. I got the brisket sandwich and it was dry and flavorless. The waiter was young and seemed to barely have a pulse meaning absolutely no enthusiasm. I ordered a beer and was not offered a glass and in my opinion that is poor... More

King Street Blues' motto is comfort food, and that's exactly what it is. Large portions of southern dishes delight the palette. Wait staff are great. The restaurant can get quite busy and loud, so plan accordingly, but you'll have a wonderful time. I especially like the Louisiana Gumbo or Jambalaya Pasta. Prices are reasonable for Old Town Alexandria.

This is not a bbq restaurant. Awful bbq. Briquette like crispy bacon, ribs had to be ripped off bones. Bbq chicken a grilled chicken breast slathered is bbq sauce. This is not bbq. Service? Rude, didn't care, lectured customers on products. This is a lunchtime dive pandering to nearby office workers. Not real bbq. Avoid.
