we liked the service and the menu. food was reasonably priced, ample quantity, good tasting. I had ribs and pulled pork combo - was fine, not great. Wife had salad with chicken 'cue - was OK. IPA on tap was very good.

Reservations were accepted online and there was a parking lot just around the corner ($5 on Saturday night). My party of 9 was seated on the third level - 2 flights of stairs can pose a hardship for some patrons (carrying car seats, elderly). Meals were decently priced, portions were not overwhelming, service was excellent, food was average. Chips with remoulade... More

I ordered the Gumbo Bowl with a side of cornbread. The Gumbo had lots of shrimp, sausage, et. It was not as spicy as I have had in the past. The cornbread was a little on the sweet side. I got my order to go since I had to do some work at my Hotel. I double parked on the... More

We stayed on King Street and pretty much stayed on King Street for our dinners, but finally started looking at other avenues for dining. It was only a block off from King Street and we are so glad we found it. We ate 2 nights in a row and the Country-Fried Steak dinner was great. Friendly staff, eclectic decor, and... More

My wife and I and 12 year old daughter had a late dinner here during the week after touring around Washington for the day and the place is great. Great food. Good local beers. Great atmosphere. Good live music downstairs. I had the 'Cats & Dogs" (catfish and hush puppies) and the fish was amazing. Would go back for sure.

We have eaten at King Street Blue's before, but it's been a while. Just ate there again, recently, and they have a lot of excellent Southern style food which is served in generous portions. The service is good and the price is fine. I think they might have some of the best mashed potatoes in the known universe. Since I... More

After hearing so many raves about this place, I just had to try it out. Seems like most of the food is pre-cooked. Ordered wing appetizer and it came out in five minutes. I ordered the combo platter and it soon followed. I understand ribs and brisket need to be precooked but the chicken breast was very dry and the... More

This was an interesting place to eat lunch with good food and paper mache art all over the walls and even a train coming out of the wall. Children would be fascinated with all there is to look at. The presidents are eating at a table altogether from different time periods. When you enter, you are in the bar but... More
