Need I say more? Mushrooms, truffle oil, lobster. Every salad on the menu, amazing. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is quiet, attentive, professional. A table near the fireplace in mid-winter, a bottle of delicious wine, their warm crusty bread and a plate of risotto is ultimate comfort.

Growing up in an Italian Family From Northern Italy I feel I can definitely rate a decent Italian Meal . We had the calamari and Mozzarella bread to start , For the price it was definitely not worth it ; I ordered the shrimp scampi linguine which was good but the grated cheese they offer was very low end ,... I loved this restaurant. It's intimate, romantic and the food was delicious. I had the lobster risotto and it was delicious. The wait staff is excellent. They were very friendly and attentive. I recommend this place for couples or adult gatherings. I would not take small children here.

I truly enjoyed this place. My husband took me here before the Christmas Candlelight Walking Tour, and it was lovely. Definitely for a special occasion. Our food was delicious (I had the seafood risotto--amazing!), and the waitstaff were attentive and accommodating. I will definitely go back and I recommend it to you as well!

Walking by this restaurant and looking in the window and seeing the interior made me think this was a very expensive restaurant. However when we studied the menu, we found that their prices were very reasonable for this upscale area. The menu offered lots of mouth watering descriptions of Italian food and lots of appetizers and vegetable side dishes too.... More

I was expecting fantastic since many restaurants in Old Town are superb. We arrived for an early dinner taking advantage of their 10% off deal when ordering before 7:00. Bread was very good and salads OK but nothing special. Felt rushed although the restaurant wasn't busy at all and wasn't happy when our entrees arrived quickly and before finishing our... More

Visited this restaurant while in Old Town. I was excited to have some authentic Italian food. I ordered a salad and penne with chicken. My food was okay…not what I had hoped for. My friend ordered the swordfish and it was a little dry. We each had two glasses of wine..mine complete with some cork. Wish we would've went to... More

We arrived for our 6PM dinner and were seated promptly by friendly staff. Picked out a fine, reasonably priced bottle of red and enjoyed our appetizers. The Grilled Garlic Bruscetta with Fresh Mozzarella and Dipping Sauces was very good. The salad of Proscuitto Wrapped Mozzarella with Braised Tomatoes, Balsamic Vinegar and Basil Oil was also very good but it could have... More

Without a doubt, the finest Italian restaurant in Old Towne. The menu is inviting and delicious with the special mushroom risotto of the highest order. The atmosphere and seating are quite attractive. On the last visit, we were placed in in the front window table with a great view of passersby. Excellent "Old World" service caps the experience. Go and... More

Situated in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, on lovely King Street, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for anyone touring the greater Washington area. The menu had some conventional, but also some innovative entrees. I was intrigued by and ordered a confit of duck served ove French lentils. The duck was average, perhaps a bit overdone, but the...
