Delightful, reasonably priced.

We are staying across the street at the Hilton for business. Being a Sunday evening and a bit worn down from walking old town in the humidity we didn't want to go far. We at first assumed this restaurant might be out of our price range and wardrobe options. Glad we were wrong, enjoyed a lovely... read more

A casualty of a near typical southern heat wave, the air-conditioning was on the fritz during our visit BUT Donna was fantastic and the cannot miss pork chops made it worth the elevated temps. Right across from the King Street metro, very convenient and welcoming to the casually dressed sight-seer. The family thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks, seated promptly... More

We left the area 29 years ago and knew to try Theismann's back in the day and never did (young kids at home - we seldom escaped). We were now staying at the Embassy Suites next door and we knew it was time to make good on an old plan. We both wanted something a little lighter as it was... More

Came on a busy Friday. Food was great- try the pork chop! It was so tender and flavorful! Service was fantastic also. Our waiter was a hoot! Cannot remember his name though. Too many drinks, I suppose...

Food was nothing to rave about. I had flat bread pizza that was extremely greasy and oily. Friends had disappointing wraps and dry chicken sandwiches. They should do better for the price we paid.

Was here about 3 years ago. It's as good this time as I remembered from before. Not cheap, but by crazy overpriced either. Glad we stopped in again!

As always great food at a good price for DC. I tried the "broken leg" beer and thought it was really good. The menu has almost everything on it. Highly recommend if you are going with a couple of couples because the menu is sure to offer something for everyone.

The first time I went to Joe Theismann's was a year or two ago for a gathering of friends. i really enjoyed it. The location is great as it is right across the street from a Metro station and coming from Gaithersburg, this is a great option. Now, that far away, it takes you awhile to get back home but... My spouse and I had drinks at Theismann’s on a Saturday afternoon in late May 2015. The restaurant is located in Old Town Alexandria just off King Street near the Metro station. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining, and it can accommodate large groups in semi-private seating areas. The 40-seat bar was busy and vibrant on the afternoon... More
