Asked my friends living in Fairfax, Virginia to recommend a good steakhouse and the recommended Joe Theismann's Restaurant. I would say that it was a decent steakhouse. I ordered the filet and was not disappointed. Strongly recommend making a reservation. Went there on a Monday night at 6:30 pm and had to wait 30 minutes. Spent time in the bar... More

Theismann's is a great place to meet friends after work on Friday and let the weeks just go away. Directly across from the Metro station, King Street stop, it has really good food and very nice surroundings. The price range is average but do not let that fool you. The Lamb is great and the streak expertly cooked. A bit... More

We met out of town friends here for dinner on a Thursday night. There were 12 of us at a table (4 kids) and everyone enjoyed their food. I wish I remembered the name of our server - he was terrific - fast, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was packed and it was difficult to hear but otherwise the atmosphere... More

This is a great place for families. We were in somewhat of a hurry - had a long day. Great food - I had Salmon. Would love to return and sample the rest of the menu. I had a wonderful Spanish red wine that was really good.

Over the years this place has had its ups and downs. I think it is more on an upward trend again. It's not cheap but then few places w Alexandria are. It is a step above food but does include burgers and sandwiches. Service an good or somewhat lacking.

Our party of four ordered fish and chips, a cheeseburger and fries, black bean nachos, and kids salmon. We all enjoyed our meals and thought the prices were reasonable. The location is very convenient to the king street metro stop... Just across the street. The bar was full and pretty loud, but the service was great and food come quickly.... More

This is a great sports bar with a high energy level and good food. I've been there a number of times, mostly in the fall during college football season with a restaurant full of customers who also appear to be alumni of whatever games are being televised.

Not a huge fan of the place, seems like a knock-off of a sports bar I use to get great appetizers with cheap drinks. We met friends for dinner here tonight because their more fans of American basics. The caprese panini was not very good, the bread tasted like a totino's frozen pizza crust I had 20 years ago. The... More

We live a few blocks away and dine here frequently. However, one of our favorites was recently taken off the entree menu after several years. That's not a deal-breaker, but we noticed the price creep on the "new menu." The ahi-tuna was mediocre and was a small portion (by Joe Theismann long-time standards). A chicken salad featured what appeared to... More
