What You Would Expect

Good subs, chili and fast service -- not busy at night and open till 9pm. Nothing special except what you'd come to expect from Potbelly's.

The sandwiches are terrible. The bread is too thick and dry and crumbly and overwhelms the fillings. Jimmy Johns has way better white rolls. Never again.

Very popular sandwich shop in Alexandira. They had some unique dishes that seemed to be of decent quality

We met my brother for lunch. The wreck sandwich is the one. It was delicious. The regular size should be more than adequate for a typical lunch break. They also had live music, which is a nice touch for a Wednesday afternoon. For me and my wife, good lunch for 18 bucks

The singers are sometimes not that great and can be annoying if you are trying to relax and talk, but...everyone needs a chance to be discovered. Lines at lunch are long but move really fast--worth getting in line. All made to order sandwiches-- they don't get upset with substitutions and the bread is great.. They add the veggies AFTER toasting... More

I love this place! I had potato soup, grilled chicken, and oatmeal chocolate chips cookies. I ate every scrap of food at this cool and modern sandwich shop. We need more of these restaurants around. Ranks right up there with Panera.

The food was commendable but in my opinion a little pricey for what I received. The milk shakes are EXCELLENT!

Our family of four ventured into Potbelly Sandwich Works on the recommendation of the hotel concierge at Embassy Suites, Alexandria. We went during lunch and it was fairly crowded. Getting through the queue was no problem, but ordering was challenging. A nice gentleman greeted us while we were in line and took our order with an iPad-like device. He knew... More

On a recent business trip to Alexandria, I looked for a place to eat that was close to my hotel. Potbelly sounded interesting, so off I went. I chose a Mediterranean sandwich and a bowl of soup. The sandwich was very good, with a nice balance of flavours and everything tasting very fresh. The soup was thick and also very... More

Stopped by here for lunch on a Sunday. Fast and super friendly service. Great sandwich at a great price. Would definitely eat here again.
