Been here twice in the last week. Both times had two different vermicelli dishes- wonderful. The lemongrass chicken was my favorite. Took my 1.5 year old here and she enjoyed the imperial rolls and some of my noodles. They have children's menu items as well but the pork in the dish I had ordered for her was too tough. Summer... This was my first time experiencing PHO. It was quite delicious and surprisingly hearty. I was full after my boyfriend and I shared an appetizer of the steamed spring rolls and the house pho. It was served with sprouts and mint. It was DELICIOUS. I want to eat here every week. The pho had lots of noodles and meat so... More

Best PHO? Why you ask. Great beef broth 5 out of 5. Lots of noodles 5 out of 5. Lots of meat in "The Works" version, just like they promised.... Meat, gristle, fat and yes..... Tripe. 6 out of 5. All the usual sprouts and fresh flavorful basil. Easy to see why high rated. Small and unassuming dining area. I... More

My wife and I have been eating at Vietnamese restaurants since 1973 when I was assigned to the US Embassy in Saigon. Since then we have eaten at Vietnamese restaurants all over the world and mostly here in Northern Virginia. Banh Mi was a real surprise! Wish we would have found it sooner. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and... More

We visited on a Tuesday night in October with friends. We never would have stopped into this place, but luckily our friends are from here and made the choice - and we are so happy that they did! The staff is great - friendly and efficient - and the food is excellent. We almost all had the house pho, which... More

fast pace of serving, people queue outside for a table, very attentive waiters. Food excellent, and not to large a portion. ( also provides a take out service) A great find

On a recent rip to Alexandria , we stopped in at Caphe Banh Mi for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough ! the food was excellent, service prompt but not intrusive. We arrived shortly after opening and the place was full within 20 minutes. Before we had finished eating we had already made plans... More

Get off King St and head to the street parallel called Cameron St. Caphe Banh mi resides at number 407. We went to lunch there after all the reviews. Banh mi is a small Vietnamese restaurant but delivers with verve. As soon as we walked in the door we were ushered to a small table for two the place was... More

Usually, when I crave Vietnamese food, I go to Pho 75 in Arlington or The Eden Center. I have tried Caphe Bahn Mi several times and it is now my go-to place for chicken pho. Feel a cold coming on? Get the chicken pho. The spring rolls are also divine. It's small, intimate and the service is quick and friendly.... More

Just stumbled on this for lunch today. Pack with people but the service was from. Prices were modest if not inexpensive, food quality was superb. I would go back there any time. I highly recommend it. I thought the food was very authentic Vietnamese.
