On a recent rip to Alexandria , we stopped in at Caphe Banh Mi for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough ! the food was excellent, service prompt but not intrusive. We arrived shortly after opening and the place was full within 20 minutes. Before we had finished eating we had already made plans... More

Get off King St and head to the street parallel called Cameron St. Caphe Banh mi resides at number 407. We went to lunch there after all the reviews. Banh mi is a small Vietnamese restaurant but delivers with verve. As soon as we walked in the door we were ushered to a small table for two the place was... More

Usually, when I crave Vietnamese food, I go to Pho 75 in Arlington or The Eden Center. I have tried Caphe Bahn Mi several times and it is now my go-to place for chicken pho. Feel a cold coming on? Get the chicken pho. The spring rolls are also divine. It's small, intimate and the service is quick and friendly.... More

Just stumbled on this for lunch today. Pack with people but the service was from. Prices were modest if not inexpensive, food quality was superb. I would go back there any time. I highly recommend it. I thought the food was very authentic Vietnamese.

My friend and I stopped by this place for a late lunch/early supper. It had good reviews and did not disappoint. We started with the summer spring rolls and they were light and delicious. I ordered the lemongrass chicken rice dish which I thought would be like fried rice. It was not, but still very good although I had to... More

Have been to several vietnamese restaurants over the years, and have found some good Pho here & there, but usially there is little to no atmosphere. This place is charming has great food and prompt service. The menu is even slightly more extensive than a typical vietnamese restaurant. However, it is a small place, so you might have to wait... This tiny hole in the wall restaurant is located in the midst of beautiful Old Town Alexandria. If you are not looking for it, you will definitely miss it. I went there on a recommendation that the Pho was exquisite. I was not disappointed. Besides all the old town charm this restaurant has on the outside (it holds a total... More

I admittedly do not know whether this is very authentic food or the best Vietnamese available, but I do know that I love it. Service is super fast and the wait staff is so friendly. Prices are low, and the pho is excellent. The cafe is petite, but I think that makes it even more adorable and it's a really... More

this may not be state-of-the art Vietnamese but it delivers very decent quality and very good value for money. This place is busy but small, so waiting time is not too long as the restaurant targets a rather high turn over. If you are out for an uncomplicated and good Asian dining experience, Caphe Banh Mi delivers well

This small restaurant is off the main street, but is worth finding. It had the best spring rolls I have ever had. From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, but the inside decor is trendy.
