Cheesetique is located in the heart of the Del Ray community of Alexandria, VA. The food is good and the staff is very helpful!

I live in the neighborhood and have visited many times. The food is uniformly very good and the wine selection is excellent. Grown up grilled cheese is a standby, charcuterie is always a favorite. Fellas, this is a great place to take a date. Women love it, so you can't go wrong. And if you're single, the odds are definitely... More

In Alexandria over the Christmas holidays and we had lunch at Cheesetique. A little out of the way if you are staying on King Street, but this place is worth the drive. Grab your car and take a 15 minute ride to Del Ray and have lunch at Cheesetique. You will not be disappointed. Lots of fun things to eat.... More

Really good food at a good price! My wife and i got the 20 sampler which included soup, sanwich or mac n cheese, and a dessert. We got tomato soup and it honestly was the best i ever had. then we got their grown up grill cheese sandwich and that was also the best grill cheese i ever had. For... More

After reading reviews of this restaurant, we had high hopes, which unfortunately were not met. We enjoyed a couple of items very much, but the others were not good. The very good? Fromage Fort was wonderful! It's a fondue like dish made with a variety of cheeses, resulting in complex and delicious dish. We also enjoyed the Italian Burrata appetizer... More

The moment we stepped in the smell of cheese took us back to Europe. The display of cheeses and cold meats was beautiful, and they even had Crème Fraîche for sale! Overall a good assortment of specialty cheese to choose from. Upon arriving we asked the hostess for a table. We kindly waited by the bar and wete later sat... More

I live near Cheesetique and what I love is that it's great for whatever you need. A drop by meal for $10 with tomato soup and gourmet grilled cheese? Check! A stop to pick up some special wine and cheese to take home for an impromptu meal? Check! A night out with charcuterie and cheese board with wine pairings? Check.... More

Found this wonderful cheese shop in Alexandria while out Christmas shopping. We actually went to grab a bite to eat and left with a full stomach and great memories. I ate the steak and cheese and must say is the best I've ever eaten! !! Oh, the flavor was amazing! !! My wife had the macaroni and cheese which is... More

I love this place and they have a hidden favorite wine bar in the back with lite cheese related fare. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about cheeses and they always have a great selection. But my favorite part is the back area wine bar.

What a great place for lunch. Can't wait to return for dinner. This cheese and wine shop also boasts a terrific, small restaurant with a bit more formal, but still casual dining room in the rear of the establishment. Friendly and helpful waitstaff. For lunch, don't miss the soups, Lobster Mac and Cheese, and the Southern Chicken Fillet sandwich. The... More
