We set out looking for a little french bakery with good croissants. Bakery had a lot of goodies. But wanted basic eggs, bacon croissant. Ended up with a Parisan ham and gruyere cheese. I was a little worried about the ham but was excellent. They served with several mustards and olive spread. My friend got the Chia pudding and strawberry... More

On a recent hot day while visiting Old Town, Alexandria, VA we stopped in here for refreshment. I ordered the lemonade and must admit it was the best I've ever tasted. The service was friendly. We had already eaten but noted the good, fresh looking omelets being served. The bakery items also looked tempting, We plan to return to try... More

Went for breakfast....nice location on King Street but a little pricey for the portions. Service was pretty good and everything was fresh.

This is a great place to have a relaxing, healthy breakfast. Everything is organic and locally sourced. We had the organic omelet (a special that day) and it was delicious. It came with field greens -- a nice touch. The tables and chairs are weathered wood, and the setting seemed consistent with the French bakery theme. The classical music was... More

Located on the busiest junction in town, you can just grab a bagette, have coffee and a dessert or have light lunch and be sure you'll get the best quality!

Went here last week and I loved their salmon torta. Very fresh smoked fish on a bed of salad. They have excellent sandwiches, omelets and eggs. The food is freshly prepared and don't forget the jams and jellies. Nice place for a casual meal.

Loved trying this place. Their menu was fresh and amazing. I'd definitely be back despite the deafening noise.

It's very hard to find a restaurant that can easily accommodate three picky food eaters. I'm the vegan and the white bean soup with a slice of whole grain bread was delicious and the perfect size for lunch. The Paleo lady also had the white bean soup but could have picked from a few other options as well. The Gluten... More

Just because you split the last of the soup you have in pot does not mean its two appropriately sized portions, especially at the price you charge for soup. Bake goods liked nice

Le Pain is one of my favorite places in Old Town, especially as they will serve steel cut oatmeal at lunch-time, made with soy milk, no less! And my vegan niece loves the salads! Great place just to sit and chat, European-style!
