Blue Mountain Brewery

On a recent trip to Charlottesville, there was a lot of buzz about the Blue Mountain Brewery. Great beer, I was told, but the pizza was also not to be missed. They were right. Great food with lots of local options and gluten free choices!!! They even stayed open during a snow storm! Pizzas, burgers all unique and filled with locally grown food. The fact that they had gluten free choices made me so so happy!!

Love the pizza here - talk about it often at home. Beer selection is great..growler fills are very reasonably priced. Place has expanded well..staff are great at making you feel at home. Try everything, there is not a bad thing on the menu!

We go to Blue Mountain Brewery several times a year and have never been disappointed with their service or beer. I should say we always have at least one flight of beer! They always have had enough staff who always seem happy to serve you. The setting is lovely with both indoor and outdoor seating. For the most part the... More

BMB is my father's favorite restaurant. We enjoyed his 90th birthday lunch there. The crab dip appetizer was his favorite and also the two glasses of Kolsch. The meatball sandwich was delicious and the chocolate brownie and ice cream was the perfect way to end the meal. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The meal, the fantastic service and... Wow - glad I found this place. First off, get off Rt 64 and check out the area around Afton - many wineries, breweries, and ciders worth a visit. Blue Mountain Brewery is terrific. I find that at a typical microbrewery you can find a couple beers made there that you'd want to try again. At Blue Mountain, I can... More

Had a good dinner here with family a couple of nights ago. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the beers were excellent (a great selection brewed on site), and the service very good. What more could you ask for in a brewpub?

As a parent of young kids it is often hard to balance your desires with theirs. This restaurant was a pleasant mix. 10 samples on the beer flight ranging from dark to light and hoppy. Loved every one of them. I am not a big fan of IPA but theirs was not overly hoppy and easy to drink. Their farms... More

We took a trip along VA Highway 151 today to explore the breweries along the trail. The furthest north of these is Blue Mountain and was my favorite. The menu was creative and the pizzas were fabulous. Oh - did I mention the beers? Great selection of brews with a taste for every palate. Don't miss Blue Mountain Brewery.
