Had a good dinner here with family a couple of nights ago. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the beers were excellent (a great selection brewed on site), and the service very good. What more could you ask for in a brewpub?

As a parent of young kids it is often hard to balance your desires with theirs. This restaurant was a pleasant mix. 10 samples on the beer flight ranging from dark to light and hoppy. Loved every one of them. I am not a big fan of IPA but theirs was not overly hoppy and easy to drink. Their farms... More

We took a trip along VA Highway 151 today to explore the breweries along the trail. The furthest north of these is Blue Mountain and was my favorite. The menu was creative and the pizzas were fabulous. Oh - did I mention the beers? Great selection of brews with a taste for every palate. Don't miss Blue Mountain Brewery.

Great place to hit on your way in or out of Wintergreen. Well attended but usually less crowded than Devil's Backbone. Beers are solid and diverse. Food is surprisingly good and they use mostly all local ingredients. Not to be missed!

Well, we sampled the flights and with the exception of 1 beer was actually disappointed with the taste. Then again most of them in the flight were hoppy which is not my type of beer. I particularly like their Dark Hollow Beer (one of my all time favorites) and Local Species, but did not see these on tap. Server was... More

The Blue Mountain Brewery was highly recommended to me and my wife had visited there earlier in the Fall. I was not disappointed the food was great, the service excellent, and the Wallonia was the best beer I had tated out of the three breweries we visited. Just wish they would make the Wallonia more available for consumption away from... More

I like wine and my husband likes beer, so we stopped at Blue Mountain after our stop at the vineyard in Afton. We were on our way to Charlottesville for dinner so we just got a flight of beer to share. I am glad we shared because I couldn't have drank a flight all by myself. There were 9 beers... More

Awesome views of the mountains. Great service, beer, and food! A little off the beaten track from Charlottesville but worth the drive out there!

I loved the beer. I had a sampler, a 2 ounce sampler of all the beer on tap, and each one was delicious. The food was good. The seasoned fries were really tasty. If it hadn't been so cold, I would have enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a great location.
