Recent visit we selected two items we'd never had, and were not disappointed. Oyster tacos and lamb chops. Oysters fried to perfection with a delectable ginger, cilantro slaw. Lamb chops grilled to perfection as well. So tender and most excellent flavor.

We went to 128 Pecan last year and really enjoyed it, so we decided to go back again recently. My husband ordered a steak and I got the jerk chicken. His steak was overcooked and just not good overall. I thought I had the jerk chicken the last time we went, because I remembered I got a chicken dish with... More

On our way to Dallas we decided to pass through Abingdon Virginia and stop for lunch at the 123 pecan restaurant, we've been there once before, the last year and it was delicious. There was no differences this time. It was delicious. Ellie, our waitress, was exceptional. We definitely will come back when in the area again.

On our first visit to Abingdon, VA, we stopped here for a light lunch. Small parking spot in front was full, but we found plenty of parking around the block on Main Street. The dining areas looked cozy, and the customers seemed to be enjoying their meals. We sat after a short wait. I tried the reuben sandwich. Although I... More

Great little place for dinner, lunch or desert. I love to dine outside, weather permitting. I've always had great meals with excellent service. And the bread pudding is one of the best deserts I've ever experienced.

I am no food cryptic or expert, but the food here is amazing. Possibly the best Cobb salad I have ever had. Tomato bisque was delicious. Waiting on the deluxe burger right now. I don't drink beer but what was suggested, could convert me.

Now I understand why everyone raves about this small café on a side street in a small town. My wife and I decided to have lunch at 128 Pecan on Friday during a recent theatre trip to Abingdon. We both found the tomato bisque to be excellent. My wife ordered the Justa Burger--huge, with good fixings, and most important, the... More

Delightful find just off I-81 in downtown historic Abingdon, VA. Food and service was exceptional. Apple-Pear Tart was possibly best dessert my husband has eaten! Black bean soup had wonderful spices and onions added to flavor just right. We plan to go back.

Jack has really succeeded in integrating his culinary experience in this restaurant. The layout permits intime conversations or saying hello to those beside you. Josh and the sous chef, Matthew, will not leave you indifferent. Try the specials or even a traditional hamburger will fire up your taste buds and your gastro juices.
