As advertised

Read several reviews decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Josh was a fabulous, upbeat guy. I had the pork loin dinner special for the night. Wonderful taste and presented beautifully. I could not eat it all. Sadly could not do dessert either!! I will be back on my next trip. Very reasonably... read more

A modest appearing neighborhood restaurant with a ton of personality, delicious food, more than reasonable rates, and a very helpful staff! My ribeye steak was as good (and as large) as anyone could expect. You will not be disappointed as you exit this fine restaurant and, if you're fortunate enough to get Angie as your waitress, it will be even... More

Quality food in small setting just off Main Street near end of Virginia Creeper bike trail (I was in hurry so staff rushed meal for me while pacing other diners casually).

This is a homey little restaurant serving great meals at a low price. Wine by the glass is only $6.25, the tomato bisque was chunky and good, the shrimp and grits was excellent (though I was a bit leery with ingredients including okra and beer), and the chocolate bread pudding with bourbon sauce was to die for!!! The four of... More

I'm not ready to say this is the best restaurant in Abingdon, but it's definitely near the top. We arrived at their busy lunch hour, but were seated immediately, and our drink order was taken. Ten minutes later, our food order was taken. Ten minutes later, our meals arrived. I had my usual Reuben, which I almost always order on... More

We ate at 128 Pecan, and have eaten here before. Everything is wonderful on the menu. We got two entrees and shared them. So we got the best of two meals. The Bread pudding is fabulous and not to be missed--even if you have it to go and enjoy it later. Well worth the wait.

We decided to have dinner here on a lovely spring night and boy, were we delighted that we did. Starting with Josh, our fantastic waiter, things just kept getting better. We've never been called Honey and sweetie so many times. He read our minds when we needed more of anything and it was instantly there. The menu was seafood heavy... More

This is a great place for lunch. They have a great selection of sandwiches and salads. Also some great streets. Don't miss the fries and the tomato soup. They are both excellent. Good homemade desserts too!

.....exceptional. We stopped here for lunch before going on a Creeper Trail bike ride, based solely on Tripadvisor reviews, as well as a quick scan of the menu. It's a convenient location, just down the hill from the Barter and Martha Washington, and maybe 100 yards away from the parking lot at the beginning of the trail on Pecan Street.... More
