Great place to stop in for lunch. A wide variety menu and quaint seating. Very casual and moderate pricing. Great veggie wrap!

We went to Ellis Soda Shoppe and Grill based on the recommendation of the friends we had come to visit and I guess it was okay. There was six of us and they had a difficult time figuring out how to maneuver two tables together to make it accessible to us. Finally, they succeeded. Our drink orders were rapidly taken... More

We visit this soda shop every time we are in town visiting family and are never disappointed. Located in the actual building that once housed the town pharmacy, it still retains plenty of memorabilia and family relics to look at. The food is delicious. We all enjoyed our orders. You can't beat their old fashioned sodas and floats! A great... More

This is a unique eatery: just like the olden days of soda fountains & drug store food. Service here is fast & friendly and the ice cream desserts are superb! Food quality is excellent with good variety of choices, incl. side options. I esp. like that the food arrives at the table "hot from the kitchen!" A real unique treat... More

The service was great. The food was good, but be ready to pay for small servings. Sad when you spend $63 on a meal and leave hungry. That was with an appetizer.

This was a very good place to have lunch. Family run business that use to be a drug store, now a grille and soda shop. Hamburger and club sandwich was very good. Although we didn't get milkshakes or malts we saw lots of them being served and they looked really good!! Service was good and they were very busy. Recommend... More

I walked into this establishment just to grab a briskly cold drink and be on my way to continue exploring the classy and quaint town of Abingdon. However, instead of going in for no more than 5 minutes, I ended up staying for an extra 30 to 40 minutes. The customer service at this restaurant was beyond my expectations. I... More

Pop Ellis Soda Shoppe and Grill is an intimate setting with rich historical ties. This family owned business is a renovated pharmacy. One main attractions in old pharmacies was the soda machine and this is why the pharmacy was turned into a soda shop by the pharmacist's son. The old relics and photos place customers into an earlier time. The... More

Really enjoyed the atmosphere in this charming 1920's Drugstore. The food was average but good. The wait to be seated wasn't too long but it could be during regular lunch hour. The service was great, you could tell that these folks enjoyed their job and wanted to make you feel at home.

This old time pharmacy is converted into a very cute restaurant. Sandwiches were very delicious. Milk shakes were just the right texture. The owners were present at the store and took a lot of pride in their establishment. We enjoyed our time there and highly recommend the restaurant for lunch.
