It's not the place to go if you insist on fine food served in an elegant manner. If however, you simply want a decent breakfast or lunch, Mr. G's is a dependable restaurant. It's a favorite of area locals who appreciate the food and the cost. Fancy it isn't; dependable food at a reasonable price it is. It must be... More

I went here for breakfast one day and had a pretty good experience as in food was good and service was acceptable. I thought I would try them for lunch and that was a mistake. My food was okay when I finally got it but the waitresses evidently have instructions to take of the locals first. A group of six... More

We stopped in here today for lunch with our realtor after touring a home for sale. I read the reviews online and it sounded good, so we decided to give it a try. The burger was as good as previous reviewers said it would be. In addition, the french fries are hand cut....not frozen!!! The prices were reasonable, the portions... More

Went there for the first time tonight. I ordered sea scallops and he got the special which was an orange glazed ham. His portion was HUGE and double what other local places give you. The salad bar was included and the NE Clam chowder was awesome! Even the peas, which were probably only canned, were full of flavor. My new... More

We were lucky enough to find this gem within site of exit 8 off 91. Good diner food, kind, thoughtful and attentive service, good prices. A bit on the slow side in getting food considering the number of people at the time. Ice cream shop in the same plaza, which has the most soft-serve flavors I have ever seen.

Pulled off the highway to grab a bite. Found Mr G's on TA. Quaint little place. Definitely a locals spot. Great homemade onion rings. Wife had the Ruben with sweet potato fries. I had Salisbury Steak with had cut fries. Typical comfort food. Food was excellent. Service was very good, we had Amanda. Loved her stars. Great place for a... More

The 3 of us went for fish fry as we have for over a year. Always good, not tonight. Fish seemed like it was mush regular Chrissy fries were sub for fresh, and they were as soggy as the fish. My poor daughter ordered cheeseburger, when it arrived the meat looked pressed and not as fresh as usual and it... More

My husband & I went there for the 1st time for dinner and I have mixed reviews. The value was good as far as the quantity of food. Included in the price was a soup & salad bar. My prime rib was a disappointment. It was over-cooked and not very juicy. If we go back I will not order that... More
