Also comes as an excellent salad plate. Friendly, clean, good prices for wonderful food, lovely place to sit down or take out. I have been there many times... More

My husband and I both work in nearby Claremont and frequent Red Barn for lunch a couple of times a week. Coffee, espresso and baked goods are top notch and the soups and sandwiches are always delicious. We also stop here for the occasional breakfast sandwich and theirs is unique (egg + cheese on a Portuguese roll with mango chutney)... More

The Red Barn Cafe & Bakery is a hidden treasure with unending gold. They are consistently good! We live locally and have eaten there 3-4 times/week for years. Its our go to place for coffee/fresh baked goodies and for delicious sandwich/soups. The menu is consistent and also suplemented daily by creative specials. The friendliness of the owners and staff are... More

The woman behind the counter gave a description of the specials for the day which was nice. We both decided on the chicken salad and what... More

My husband and I ventured up to Windsor, Vermont for a three-day weekend. Before leaving NJ, I researched restaurants in the area on TripAdvisor and the Red Barn Cafe was highly recommended for its home baked goods and chicken salad. I love chicken salad, and who doesn't like home baked goods, so we gave it a try. You have the... More

The food was high quality. All six of us including three children enjoyed our sandwiches. The breakfast sandwich was the "best ever". The chicken salad was excellent as reported by other reviewers. Outdoor picnic seating was available.

This is just off Exit 8 on I91, along with some gas stations and convenience stores and a Dunkin Donuts. But, it is totally charming! Big comfortable tables, free WiFi, local newspapers to read, home baking and really really good scratch-made soup and sandwich. It is closed after 3 PM, so just open for breakfast and lunch. If you are... More
