Doc's is one of the first restaurants as you enter the SoCo area. We have passed by many times & decided to try it out. The food was great - our kids had burgers & fries, which they loved. The home-style fries were great. I had the Tort Burger (served on a tortilla with guacamole & questions) which was awesome.... More

One HOT evening after walking around, we decided to go for dinner at Doc's. We didn't know what to expect from it, but the location seemed really cozy and relaxed. From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I needed to have a capitol salad with fried chicken. It just looked delicious, and it was! Perfect on everything.... More

We visited here twice. The 1st time was the weekend the universities were having graduation events and the place was heaving. Probably the most noise in a restaurant ever but great fun. The food was good and service was good considering how busy they were. The 2nd visit was several days later and the place was dead but it took... More

Doc's is a fun place to eat. Doc's is smack dab in the middle of trendy SoCo. The food is good and sitting outdoors to eat is what makes it fun -- people watching is the best.

No complaints. The wait staff was friendly and the food was good. The patio seating is dog friendly and they offer water bowls for the dog while you eat.

Had dinner here while visiting the Texas School for the Deaf. Not a bad place just nothing special. We were hoping for food trucks but could fond them so settled for here. Staff friendly, food good, nice beer selection but nothing special. If you in the area stop by but no need to make a special trip.

A very airy and open place, you can sit in or out. Last time there, the Texas weather was amazing and we sat out on the patio on a Friday night and watched the world go by. Service is excellent (Thank you Laura!) Food is good and atmosphere relaxed. There are tons of tv's if your interested in something sports... More

A good place for fish tacos and a beer. It's refreshing to sit in the patio while watching a game, eating, or just people watching can get busy

We only stopped here to have drinks and snacks. The chips were a little salty, but the margarita was good and the service was great.
