Best I've had in Texas

Took the wife here last weekend. 30 min wait not too bad. The service and the food was excellent. I had some fish appetizer a bowl of Tom Yum soup and curry chicken. Flavors were marvelous. Best yellow curry I've ever tasted. The soup was very pleasant to the pallet. Will def be back again

This restaurant was recommended by a local, and I'm so glad I went. The restaurant is reasonably priced, has delicious food and pleasing decor. I ordered basil rice with chicken. It came with a cup of mushroom soup and was only $7.95. What a bargain! What made it even better was the speedy and courteous service, and being five minutes... More

This place is located in a strip mall way up on North Lamar. Normally I would have passed it by, but a friend recommended we go. Really glad we did. The food was certainly the best Thai food I have had in Austin. A few of the other local Thai places I've tried are OK, but nothing special. This place... More

The food here is terrific, as is the service. Great takes on the predictable originals and some fun and different things to order too. My recommendation--try something new. I did and did not regret it. The food here is worth coming back for, the prices amazing for a big city, and the faux hipster watching can't be beat--lot's of hipster... More

I had a nice dinner here with my wife recently, I had heard very good things about Titaya and I was still really impressed with my meal. I should admit upfront that Thai food is my favorite food, but even with that disclaimer I have to say that Titaya's is one of the better meals I've had in Austin. The... More

We had some starters, a big bowl of soup for the table, the pineapple rice - all the dishes tasted very authentic. We had pots of green tea (it was freezing outside) and a lovely meal overall.

Our family had discussed stopping be as were were in the neighborhood and were certainly glad we did. We found the dishes to be large enough to dine family style and the prices were very reasonable. The fried fish was crispy and delicious, but the sauce was even better. We were all spooning it over our rice and nothing was... More

Four of us went to Titaya's for lunch. The other couple have been here numerous times and have told us it was worth stopping to eat. My wife normally thinks Thai is about like Chinese and normally is just so-so, Well today she is convinced we need to go back as she loved her dish of stir fried veggies and... More

Living in San Antonio for the past year has been really hard on my palate. Nothing wrong with the town (it is not a city) it is clean and family friendly. But the food, just abysmal in my opinion--especially when it comes to ethnic foods. My family and I have to travel to Austin and Houston just to eat and... More
