Stick with the pastas

I have eaten here many times, and this is a solid option for Pasta entrees. Having ventured into their non-pasta options, I would recommend that the best of there offerings remain in the pasta columns. Good vegetarian options, like the butternut ravioli. Solid wines.

My husband and I took our daughter and son-in-law to Botticelli's during a recent visit to Austin. Parking on South Congress is horrific. Be sure to come early to scout out a space. We had reservations, and were seated immediately. The waiter, who was fairly new, was very attentive. He was able to make a nice wine selection for us.... More

I was recently in Austin, TX for a conference and had the opportunity to visit Botticelli's on South Congress. The food, decor, and live music are all worth the visit. Try the Botticelli Bread, you won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Had the pork chop with a ceasar and the portion was large enough for us to split and stroll down Congress Avenue perfectly satisfied.

We took the family for a promotion celebration. Service was fantastic! The entrees we selected were very good and each of us loved our choices. We had meatballs, filet, char, duck, and ribs. The spicy shrimp appetizer was very good. Only complaint, which others note was the noise level. Couldn't really visit without yelling over the tables nearby. Just an... More

We had heard good things about this restaurant and were anxious to try it. The lasagne was superb but others in our party of five were unimpressed with their choices. The fish was recommended by our waiter, who was excellent, but it seemed to be overcooked and was served over a soggy pile of polenta. Generally speaking, fish is a... More

The food and ambiance is so great. We love going here for romantic dinners. Special occasions, because we tend to spend way too much on wine, appetizers, and main course. We never have room for dessert but they sound good. We always have left overs and they are still delicious reheated.

We were staying on SoCo and wanted a steak without driving. With limited options we picked Botticellis and it turned out to be a perfectly happy accident. The patio was very romantic and fine, lights, jazz music, casual atmosphere. We had the filet and lasagna of the day and both were good. My boyfriend said the filet was one of... More

Wanted some good Italian food and they didn't disappoint. We had the Original Botticell's Bread, Tagliatelle with meatballs, Anatra Due Maniere (seared duck entree with ravioli), and Caesars Salad, all the entree were good, but the salad needed more dressing. Make reservations, I used Open Table.

On a very steamy Austin evening we went for dinner. Options included inside seating or outdoors in the back which was very charming although far too warm as the series of fans near the tables were not operational. We decided to sit at the bar for service and had charming conversations with the bartender as well as other patrons while... More
