Excellent location on South Congress. Easy to reserve (used Open Table online) for 4, but fills up quickly. Well known for their Botticelli Bread - it will NOT disappoint. My group ordered different seafoods and shared - mussels, fire shrimp and scallops. Awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed trying a variety of their various cocktails as well as their famous tequila shots... The owners of this restaurant are from Oak Park, IL, as I am, so I had to stop and check out the food. It was wonderful. The waiter was great, the service was great, the food was fabulous. We went during the week, on a Wednesday, and had a great time. The restaurant was not crowded, but the food was... More

We visited Bottichelli's several times on our recent trip to Austin. The restaurant (inside) is really tiny, and can get pretty loud, but it was a fun experience. The service was great, and I was impressed they were able to work around my food allergy with ease. There is also an outdoor sitting area in the back with live music,... More

We have been to Botticelli's a few times and it has been pretty good - not great - but good enough to have on the repeat list. This trip they sat the four of us at the table by the window, next to the door - with no option to move at 6pm. This table is so bad that they... More

The SoCo area is a bustling, "in" scene, but Botticelli's is something of an oasis in its midst. Small, not noisy, busy but welcoming staff, knowledgeable and attentive (but not intrusive) service, and good food. Three of us had dinner -- an order of the "original" Bottticelli's bread, an entrée each, and a bottle of Chianti. More than enough for... More

We were looking for some good Italian food where we didn't have to drive all the way downtown. We sat out back in the garden where the atmosphere was casual and the food was terrific. The flavors were unique and you could tell they were homemade. The service was excellent even though they were quite busy on a Saturday night.... More

This is a small place with a big flavor. We had wonderful wine and tried different salads and entrées. Everything was fantastic. I had the raviolis - both the mushroom and squash. The mushroom was rich and creamy. The squash was fresh, sweet and spicy - a unique blend indeed. Dinner dishes start at $20 and go up - Reservations... More

A nice intimate place in the midst of SoCo. The food is great (try the lasagna!) and the beer garden out back offers a less formal dining scene. Great to some solid Chicago influence on the block.
