I tried the cinnamon rolls & marble cupcake that they are known for. I wasn't impressed. The cinnamon roll was hard and coated in sugar that made a mess. The marble cupcake just had a huge chunk of cream cheese in the middle. Neither were very apealing to me.

This is a lovely place to grab a quick bite. During our trip to Austin, we are here several times. The lunch is great, quick, and reasonably priced. Their vinaigrette is very good which seems to be a marker of a good eatery. The cinnamon rolls are outstanding as they go against tradition, bridging the gap between a croissant and... More

We really liked the Upper Crust. Visiting relatives in Austin, they took us here saying that they had never tried it, but had heard good things about it. We ended up ordering a sampling of everything for breakfast: A couple cinnamon rolls, a muffin, a slice of cake, a slice of quiche, a pig in a blanket type thing and... More

As avid bakery lover please listen to me when I say this place is forgettable. None of the pastries stood out to me. I honestly can't remember any of the things I tried therefore making Upper Crust forgettable.

Upper Crust is always my go to for local baked goods and lunch! Their product is always fresh, artfully prepared, and delicious. My favorites are the cinnamon rolls and their coconut cream pie! Yummy!

While visiting college daughter, stopped in for breakfast, so pleased we did! Reminded me of the great pasty shops in Germany, where I was born. Such a fabulous selection, we selected mushroom, spinach quiches and cinnamon roll to share with rich Colombian coffee, there was a party in my mouth, the roll was the best I have ever tasted. The... Definitely one of the top 3 cinnamon rolls I ever had, and I love cinnamon rolls. To be clear, these cinnamon rolls are different from most. First, they are very dense, not fluffy like the grocery store variety. Second, there's no icing. Just cinnamon and sugar. I travel a good deal for work and tray cinnamon rolls pretty much everywhere... More

Upper Crust Bakery is a well established eatery in North central Austin. It had been a couple of years since I have visited so I dropped in early this morning. I was curious if it was still as good as I remembered. It was! The Colombian coffee is rich in flavor and pipping hot. All the baked goods looked fabulous.... More

Basically, I love this place. They have quiche, sandwiches, soups, homemade breads, and the BEST pastries ever!!! Come early for the apple turnover and sausage wraps. For lunch you can have a custom sandwich with tortilla soup. And you've got to try their teas with lemonade. Amazing!! When I take young kids I like to order them the hot chocolate,... More
