Not what it used to be

The pastry selection was good but was not too excited about what I got. I had not been in a while so maybe the luck of the draw. No more free coffee refills; I guess inflation is tough on everybody.

The guy was rude that took my order. I order a Chicken Salad Sandwich and a strawberry croissant. He mad a remark, when I order my sandwich on white bread. Geeeez. The sandwich was great was a full sandwich they are not shy with the filling. The Strawberry Croissant was okay hardly no filling. It's an Average place. Mixed feelings... More

The bakery is wonderful. So many things to choose from although I only bought the carrot cake - it was wonderful and not too sweet or too orange - just right. But the biggest surprise was their lunch. I had no idea they served food here, but they do and it's worth a visit. Not in a business lunch sort... More

I've travelled and lived in Texas for 35 years and have yet to find another bakery with the same quality and variety of baked goods. The prices are reasonable.

Located on Burnet Road, Austin Texas. Great all fresh sandwiches, soups. BUT save room for a wonderful selection of the best desserts. And there is a good chance you will want to take home a basket of breads and pastries. Good place for family, friends and business. Plenty of off street parking.

I tried the cinnamon rolls & marble cupcake that they are known for. I wasn't impressed. The cinnamon roll was hard and coated in sugar that made a mess. The marble cupcake just had a huge chunk of cream cheese in the middle. Neither were very apealing to me.

This is a lovely place to grab a quick bite. During our trip to Austin, we are here several times. The lunch is great, quick, and reasonably priced. Their vinaigrette is very good which seems to be a marker of a good eatery. The cinnamon rolls are outstanding as they go against tradition, bridging the gap between a croissant and... More

We really liked the Upper Crust. Visiting relatives in Austin, they took us here saying that they had never tried it, but had heard good things about it. We ended up ordering a sampling of everything for breakfast: A couple cinnamon rolls, a muffin, a slice of cake, a slice of quiche, a pig in a blanket type thing and... More

As avid bakery lover please listen to me when I say this place is forgettable. None of the pastries stood out to me. I honestly can't remember any of the things I tried therefore making Upper Crust forgettable.

Upper Crust is always my go to for local baked goods and lunch! Their product is always fresh, artfully prepared, and delicious. My favorites are the cinnamon rolls and their coconut cream pie! Yummy!
