Best sandwiches in town, on homemade bread, wonderful cakes and cookies, great coffee cakes and the best sticky buns ever.

Upper Crust Bakery is a well established eatery in North central Austin. It had been a couple of years since I have visited so I dropped in early this morning. I was curious if it was still as good as I remembered. It was! The Colombian coffee is rich in flavor and pipping hot. All the baked goods looked fabulous.... More

Basically, I love this place. They have quiche, sandwiches, soups, homemade breads, and the BEST pastries ever!!! Come early for the apple turnover and sausage wraps. For lunch you can have a custom sandwich with tortilla soup. And you've got to try their teas with lemonade. Amazing!! When I take young kids I like to order them the hot chocolate,... More

The chocolate gold cookie is amazing! It's chocolate with chocolate chunks with big pecan pieces, so yummy! Chocolate chocolate cupcake was great-loved the icing! Choc italian cream cake was good but a little dry. Chocolate croissant was delicious! Peanut butter oatmeal choc chip cookies weren't sweet enough or me but great cookie texture. I'm looking forward to lunch next trip... More

Substantial breakfast items. Baked goods and coffee; sandwiches offed as well. Light and airy with plenty of seating. Local eating and gathering space. Reasonable prices. Congenial atmosphere. Parking.

You want to know what I love about this place? I can order a 1/2 sandwich - which in my world means there will be plenty of room for desserts!!!

Nice place for a light lunch. I love the lentil soup. Try the cinnamon rolls. They are special and so unusual.

Nice lunch options. They put sprouts on their sandwiches but you can ask for lettuce. Nice veggie options and their lentil soup is THE best!! MMM I could eat bowls and bowls of it! People are friendly and fast. I use them for office lunches and large orders and they have NEVER made a mistake ever with our order. Oh... More

Good breakfast choice for continental style offerings, but not if you are trying to lose weight. Nice variety of breads, pastries, and Danishes. All delicious. They have a sausage in a bread-like / roll-like presentation. They'll heat it for you. Coffee tasty, falls a bit short of Russell's Bakery, however (but the service hear is friendlier).
