Nicely seasoned food, well prepared, good sized portions. Nice atmosphere. Service was SPECTACULAR. A server named Anna combined efficiency and personality in attending to our group. Overall, a great experience.

I ended up ordering the Eggs Sagra, with carmelized onions/mushrooms. The description is: Foccacia, poached eggs, Hollandaise, mixed greens, roasted potatoes. The foccacis was toasted well, the Hollandaise was very tasty, the mixed greens had just the right amount of dressing. BUT - the waitress served the dish (training is needed) with semi-firm yolks and obviously runny whites on the... More

We took my mother out a late brunch and because it was so hot we didn't want to sit outside and preferred someplace in East Austin that would actually take a reservation. Someone suggested Sagra and what a delightful surprise. We walked into a cool, clean and lovely space and were seated at a great table overlooking the neighborhood and... More

I loved our lunch when we visited Austin to see our daughter. We were thrilled she decided to have Sagra cater her wedding reception! There will be a lot of out-of-towners's there and I know Sagra will represent Austin well

Having lived in NYC/Long Island, I'm accustomed to great Italian food in under-lit locations with a sketchy exterior. Here in East Austin, Sagra has a well-lit, spacious dining room that is perfect for a business lunch. Despite the trendy location, the food is fabulous. The pizzas are wood-fired for that perfect crust and a small will leave you with a... More

My husband and I made a reservation via Open Table. We were going to be on the East side of town and wanted to try something new to us. We were a bit shocked how limited the selection was for the East side via Open Table. There was no need for a reservation. They had plenty of space for us.... More

Went in with no expectations and to our surprise pizza was very good, so was the arugula salad. Service was great!

My sister had a birthday on March 3rd. Upon deciding where to go I mentioned Sagra. We had gone previously for another birthday and we had a nice time and the food was good. I made my reservation around 6pm for a 9:30pm reservation. I received a confirmation...3 times and pasted the confirmation below. The weather was a little rainy... More

We met at the restaurant on Saturday before going to the theater. The service and food were quite good. Though the food had an European flair to it, I would not truly consider it authentic Italian. Our group of ladies enjoyed the $1 Bellinis and Mimosas. For $16 you can get unlimited Bellinis/Mimosas, scones, fruit and your entree choice. They... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening and what a huge disappointment. Situated in the trendy, gentrifying part of east Austin, there is absolutely nothing to suggest that thematically, it is Italian. It appears to be simply a retail space in a new office building with tables and chairs. And the food makes no impact either. Just one regular... More
