My sister had a birthday on March 3rd. Upon deciding where to go I mentioned Sagra. We had gone previously for another birthday and we had a nice time and the food was good. I made my reservation around 6pm for a 9:30pm reservation. I received a confirmation...3 times and pasted the confirmation below. The weather was a little rainy... More

We met at the restaurant on Saturday before going to the theater. The service and food were quite good. Though the food had an European flair to it, I would not truly consider it authentic Italian. Our group of ladies enjoyed the $1 Bellinis and Mimosas. For $16 you can get unlimited Bellinis/Mimosas, scones, fruit and your entree choice. They... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening and what a huge disappointment. Situated in the trendy, gentrifying part of east Austin, there is absolutely nothing to suggest that thematically, it is Italian. It appears to be simply a retail space in a new office building with tables and chairs. And the food makes no impact either. Just one regular... More

Really missed the fish on Christmas Eve. Went to Sagra for the 7 Fishes dinner. Excellent. Wish I had room for bread and the mussel saffron sauce. The canolli was good, too. Wife would not get tiramisu again. There was what seemed like a cookie in the bottom and it lacked some coffee flavor. Manager did allow for the meal... More

We went there on a Sunday night and it was a bit dead, but it was late. We sate in the bar and ordered some calamari, pizza, and some risotto. All of it was pretty good and had some awesome mint lemonade. I would go back

We chose this restaurant on friends recommendation base on their old location. This was our first visit ever. Ambiance was very nice, tablecloths, candles, fresh flowers. We visited on a Friday around 8pm and it was only about a third full. All of the items we ordered sounded great on the menu. The problem was that they weren't very balanced.... More

The atmosphere is nice with the white tablecloths and natural lighting. The food doesn't measure up, though. When there's a limited menu, you sort of expect that the offerings will be top notch, but they weren't. The pizza crust was a little burned, and the dishes just weren't packed with flavor like they ought to be in Italian food. I... More

I went with a group of friends for a girls-night out, and we all picked pasta. Their pasta is homemade, and they put infusions in each one of them. Mine had wine, and I could taste it! But that didn't take away the flavor of the bolognese sauce. Also, we requested a pitcher of Sangria, for all 4 of us,... More

Visited Sagra several times for dinner since move to new location. Always satisfied and recommended to friends. Dinner about a month ago was not up to previous standards but we assumed it was just an off night for the chef. Dinner last night was wholly unacceptable. The pork loin dish did not contain the sauce or polenta on the menu.... More

I have now visited this restaurant twice. Had pasta on my first visit. Delicious! Second time came for happy hour. Awesome half price pizza and AMAZING sangria. My new favorite.
